Band's Current Single "Dead" Climbs to #14 at Mainstream Rock and Breaks the Top 20 at Active Rock
The All American band, Buckcherry will be giving the gift of rock this holiday season with "Christmas is Here." The band's original holiday track is a seasonal compliment to their current single "Dead" from the album All Night Long, which debuted in the Top 10 on Billboard's 200 chart. This week, "Dead" climbed to #14 on the Mainstream Rock chart and broke the Top 20 on the Active rock chart.
Front man Josh Todd says, "We have been wanting to write an original Christmas song for some time and never had the time until now. 'Christmas is Here' got started with a simple melody like all the great traditional Christmas songs. I then took it to Keith and told him how I wanted the music to go, and it came together very quickly with all 5 of us jamming up at the Bastard Ranch where All Night Long was made. On TV, Buckcherry joins the DIRECTV Concert Series. The show features Buckcherry at the Moondance Jam Festival performing hit songs including "All Night Long" and "Lit Up." Premieres Saturday, December 11, at 9pm ET/PT exclusively on The 101 Network - DIRECTV Channel 101.
