AVENGED SEVENFOLD's music video for its latest single, "So Far Away", can be viewed below. (Note: Video stream may not be available to some non-U.S. residents.) The clip is described as a "raw and emotional" tribute to late AVENGED drummer Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan, who died in December 2009 from an accidental overdose of prescription drugs. The track itself, which appears on the band's current "Nightmare" album, is said in a press statement to be a "very personal goodbye" to Sullivan.
The "So Far Away" video was directed by Wayne Isham, who has previously helmed videos for such established artists as METALLICA, MÖTLEY CRÜE, SIMPLE PLAN, PANTERA, 'N SYNC, SHANIA TWAIN, GODSMACK, BRITNEY SPEARS, LEONA LEWIS, PINK FLOYD, SHERYL CROW, JOSS STONE, MADONNA, AVRIL LAVIGNE, DEF LEPPARD and BON JOVI.
