SKELETONWITCH Debut New Track

Athens, Ohio's SKELETONWITCH have debuted a third track from their upcoming album, Forever Abomination. "Sink Beneath Insanity" can now be streamed, exclusively, at Pitchfork.com. The band will be debuting a new track every day this week at various outlets; keep your eyes open each day! The previously released tracks can also be streamed at ForeverAbomination.com, where the album can be pre-ordered. The band is on the cover this month's Decibel as well.

The new album hits streets on October 11th, and many independent retailers are offering special incentives. For a list of retailers offering a free poster (pictured above, while supplies last!) go here. Newbury Comics is offering signed CD booklets with pre-order through their online shop, as well.

The band is about to wrap up a run supporting Arch Enemy and Devildriver; they will then headline select shows in October and before joining forces with Kvelertak for a short run of dates. As announced last week the band will be participating in this fall's Jaegermeister Music Tour, alongside Chimaira and Unearth. The group will kick off 2012 by supporting The Black Dahlia Murder in the UK and France.

Forever Abomination was recorded in Los Angeles over the summer with producer Matt Hyde (Slayer, Hatebreed, Children of Bodom). It will be issued in three formats: digital download; a six-panel, plastic-free digipak; and a triple-gatefold LP (which in turn will be available in several color variants). More details and pre-order are available at ForeverAbomination.com. The album features artwork by Andrei Bouzikov (Municipal Waste, Holy Grail, Cannabis Corpse), who also contributed the cover art for the band's 2009 release, Breathing The Fire. The track "Reduced to the Failure of Prayer" is now in rotation at Sirius/XM's Liquid Metal and can be requested at their Facebook page.

Forever Abomination will be released internationally on the following dates:

Mainland Europe: October 7
United Kingdom: October 10
North America: October 11
Japan: October 19
