Sequels tend to draw in more attention than their first attempt and that what happens when this LP "Gods & Monsters," was released by gothic death rockers AstroVamps. Containing 11-tracks of industrial goth/death rock music, brings these musicians out into the open more willing than ever before...
Having released their first two records "Savage Garden," and "Blood And Flowers," on cassette in 1991-1993, the band expanded and wrote content for "Pixies And Daggers," which was never recorded. Later on their self-titled debut hit in 95 and "Manifesto," awoke in 2003 on their new label Alice In.... "Amerikan Gothick," (2004) hit and later brought "Gods & Monsters," which brought sadness having the band disband soon after its release. Having this sorrow hanging above our heads didn't stop this record from spreading, its guitar riffs and drum beats made this experience more entertaining. Bandmates Daniel Lan (Vocals), Eyajo Jospeh (Keyboards), Toe Knee (Drums), Glass Ghost (Guitar) and Corwin (Bass) made AstroVamps who they were, and made "Die Baby Die," "Walkin After Midnight," "Somebody Forgot To Tell Me I Was Dead," and "Horror Porn Star," such great classic hits.
Each having catchy lyrics and lyrical themes unlike any you've listened too before. AstroVamps brings on the eerie gothic atmosphere's, having the guitars and bass rumble echoing off your eardrum to the beating of the music. Each song has such meaning and emotion to it, it draws attention to itself causing such chaos and mischief it builds up creating a sensation tone of musical pieces it begins to top piece by piece creating a tower of notes and lyrics you can relate too. The guitars create this building of musical talent and recreational style you won't want to forget. AstroVamps have succeeded and it shows and their musical talent will never be forgotten.
