"BUTTERFLY," the long-awaited new album from one of the most celebrated Japanese rock bands, L¹Arc~en~Ciel, will be released in North America (U.S.), Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Mexico on Wednesday; February 8, 2012 via iTunes. Described by Kerrang! as ³The biggest band you¹ve never heard of², L¹Arc~en~Ciel has sold over 40 million records and will also return to the U.S. in 2012, for the 2nd time in 20 years, on March 25th with a historic performance at New York¹s legendary Madison Square Garden. "BUTTERFLY" will include the band¹s 20th L¹Anniversary single "X X X" (ŒKiss, Kiss, Kiss¹) and "CHASE", all six singles since 2008¹s including "DRINK IT DOWN" as well as three new songs. The album also includes hit song "GOOD LUCK MY WAY" as featured in the movie version of the iconic and highly popular anime full-length feature film, FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST: THE STAR OF MILOS. This band¹s hit single "READY STEADY GO" was utilized in the soundtrack of original hit FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST television series featured on Cartoon Network¹s Adult Swim.
