EISLEY ANNOUNCES SUMMER TOUR DATES INCLUDING FESTIVAL PERFORMANCES AT SUMMERFEST AND CORNERSTONE

Just two days after the final date of the Deep Space Tour, indie pop quintet Eisley is happy to announce their next set of US dates - The Mid-Summer Tour.

Kicking off on June 28th, the two week run with support from Merriment, will bring Eisley to two of the summer's biggest music festivals: Summerfest in Milwaukee, WI and Cornerstone Festival in Marietta, IL.

This will be the band's first time performing at Summerfest and third time performing at Cornerstone. Prior to the start of tour, Eisley will also perform a special in-store acoustic set, presented by Dickies Clothing at 1pm CST at the Tilly's Store Grand Opening at South Plains Mall in Lubbock, TX. Following the tour, the band will return home to write and record their highly anticipated fourth full-length album.

Eisley is touring in support of their recently released Deep Space EP. The five-track album, which was recorded in the band's hometown of Tyler, TX and self-produced, was released on February 14th via Equal Vision Records.

Of the EP, online tastemakers Stereo Subversion boasted, "It is next to impossible not to become ensnared by the epic beauty of everything from the melodic guitars, heavy drumming and the siren calls that are the lush, sad and gorgeous voices of the sisters DuPree: Stacy, Chauntelle and Sherri. This band just doesn’t know how to stop putting out the quality tunes…Deep Space is a solid release that fits perfectly into the Eisley discography and will give their fans five more reasons to love them.” Similarly HM Magazine stated, "Eisley is a proven entity and you can rest assured that you’re going to be assaulted by just about the sweetest swirling voices and harmonies you’ve ever heard over soft and catchy melodies deftly played by the band."

Perhaps even more notable than Eisley's beloved recordings is the band's ability to bring the same amount of emotion and talent to their live performances, bringing their whimsical tales and instrumentations to life on stage. Time Out New York described the experience as "...a gossamer tapestry of dreamlike textures punctuated by soaring vocals, which never fails to come off as somewhat mystical and charmingly inscrutable."

"If you’re looking for another reason to catch Eisley in person, the dual vocals of Stacy and Sherri may be one of the most fascinating combinations to watch and hear. The girls’ harmonies have long been one of the most lauded aspects of the band’s recordings, but hearing them live adds a new depth to the experience. Both Stacy and Sherri share lead duties and each is smart and flexible when their role changes to background vocals, knowing exactly when and how to supplement the other. Not to be outdone, Chauntelle adds another voice to the mix during select songs," noted PopMatters.com review of the band's most recent tour.

"And most simply concluded, "If you get the chance to see them live—take it."
