It has been a long road coming for New Yorker Gavin DeGraw and his debut full-length "Chariot" (2003). With a re-release "Chariot Stripped" (2004) and three releases to follow through "Self-Titled" (2008) "Free" (2009) and most recent "Sweeter" released just last year, there is no stopping him. Hence look at his recent showcase being featured in the fourteenth season of ABCs Dancing With The Stars coming back for a performance segment later on Gavin DeGraw has gotten his ways happening left and right.
"Sweeter" is the fourth studio album by the rock star and a long ways away from his one hit wonder "I Don't Wanna Be". This time around and two singles later the title track and "Not Over You", see's Gavin at his best musical talent yet. The lyrics are fun and fulfilling with the music being built upon tons of energy and upbeat rhythms. Other notable tunes include another recognizable single "Soldier", while "Where You Are", and "Spell It Out", could round off the groovy beats.
This release is as the title says is "Sweeter" with great textures stronger melodies hard rock hooks with a sensible look into the oncoming future.
