Emilie Autumn - Fight Like A Girl

Emilie Autumn if you haven't heard her name before now is the time you look into her line of work. If you're not up to it she is a musician and an artist of sorts having released several albums so far and toured the world her third album has been one in the making that has taken quite some time to arrive. But now the time has come and this one is one that will astound and amaze you.

This time around "Fight Like A Girl" is the third album to date and is a musical album taking her concept from her book “The Asylum for Wayward Victorian Girls”, but also added a continuation of her previous release "Opheliac" it comes to melancholy but focus upon mental illnesses. With that the title track along with "Time For Tea", were the ones to debut, each doing its own duty to amaze and astound the listener every way possible. The instrumentals are strong with an edge Emilie is known to establish.

Other tracks that stand out includes "Take the Pill", "Girls! Girls! Girls!", "If I Burn", "Scavenger" and "Hell is Empty", sum up what this release is truly all about. There is constant energy, focus, trance, and creativity from start to finish. This will surely be a fresh of breath air once the musical version hits the stage come 2014, having Emilie's vision and lifestyle come full circle.
