Bullet for my Valentine - Temper Temper

"Breathe once more" is one of the song lyrics off a new song offered on Bullet for my Valentine's fourth album to date, "Temper Temper" again produced by Don Gilmore who previously worked with the group in 2010's "Fever". Returning to the previous quotations of "Breathe once more" this lyrical line comes off a song called "P.O.W." a soft ballad of a tune that is straight forward of being nothing more than a soft ballad type of tune.

Whereas current singles "Temper Temper", and "Riot", were introductions of what we can expect and it's just as any other Bullet for my Valentine album, it's their style as best as we know it. But does it live up to their classic debut of "The Poison"? Not so much.

"Tears Don't Fall Part 2", is a continuation and even slight similarity to the first version "Tears Don't Fall", having the melodies and route being so alike it's uncanny. "Leech", "Dead To The World", and "Livin Life (On The Edge of the Knife)",  keep the classic Bullet for my Valentine style fresh and alive having fast bearing riffs with drum beats that keeps it running like never-ending water.

Bullet for my Valentine's latest is a good effort but not one of their greatest. Surly old and new fans will take a liking or a disliking to this material, for its fast but appealing chime isn't more than just a string-a-long of songs worthy more than a few listens.
