J-Pop female vocal duo YANAKIKU will make their American debut at San Francisco's J-Pop Summit on July 19. The Kimono Cosplay singers will perform on the Pagoda Main Stage in Japan Town and participate in the festival's Cosplay Masquerade in addition to meet and greet sessions and cosplay demonstrations at their booth all weekend long.
YANAKIKU joins an all-star lineup of great Japanese music artists at this year's J-Pop Summit, including Tokyo Girls' Style, May'n, and Pinky Doodle Poodle.

In April of this year, YANAKIKU's new song "FUJIYAMA DISCO" was released on iTunes in 109 countries, plus online services Amazon MP3, Recochoku.jp, dwaongo.jp, music.jp, Spotify, XBox music and FaRao. The music video for "FUJIYAMA DISCO" scored over 60,000 views in its first month on YouTube.
Their latest song "Paku Paku Kingyo" was released last week, coupled with a playful music video portraying YANAKIKU as two golden fish singing about their secret crush.

With Harajuku-inspired fashion and catchy dance beats, YANAKIKU has built up a strong following among Japanese music and fashion fans after appearances at Hyper Japan 2013 (London) and TIFFCOM 2013 (Japan). In 2014, they performed at Tokyo Dome's Furusato Matsuri and the special "New Year Event with Japanese Artists 2014" live show in Korea. In July 2014, YANAKIKU will return to Hyper Japan and make their American debut at San Francisco's J-Pop Summit.
