SAVING ABEL RETURN WITH NEW ALBUM

Since 2008 Saving Abel has embodied the definition of ‘Southern Rock’.  Even before their self-titled debut album for Capitol Records was released they were barnstorming the country making fans everywhere they went, just by being themselves. Simple, down home, charming, country-boys with immeasurable talent that was destined to take them straight to the top. 2014 is no different, and the band now returns with their strongest work to date with two new members in tow.

Saving Abel’s forthcoming new album, Blood Stained Revolution will be released on November 11th.  The date was aptly chosen because by the band because it is Veteran’s Day. Individually and collectively Saving Abel and its members have always been incredible supporters of the amazing men and women in the US Armed Forces. Several of their hit songs: “18 Days," “Drowning (Face Down),” and “Miss America” were all written and dedicated to the US Military.

The guys have had the honor of being invited and traveling to play for the troops in some of the most remote and dangerous places in the world. …Iraq, Qatar, Cuba, Japan, and India just to name a few.

For this new album, Saving Abel welcomes two new members into the fold: singer Scotty Austin and drummer Steven Pulley.  They join the existing core of the band: Jason Null, Scott Bartlett, and Eric Taylor.  The result of this new lineup and independent attitude of the band has been amazing.

“Loosing or replacing a front man is nothing any band wants to do,” remarked Saving Abel founding member and guitarist Jason Null.  “So we decided we wouldn't replace anyone we would consider this a rebirth for band, an opportunity to write and record the music we've always wanted to. Scotty's attitude and enthusiasm and belief in us along with new drummer Steven Pulley has enabled us to make a change but stay the same. We are all enjoying our fans, travels, and music and for once this feels like a true brotherhood.  We have the tattoos to prove it!”

The album is also the first release on the band’s new label: Tennessippi Whiskey Records.  The guys chose the name based on the fact that the all of the members of the band are from Tennessee and Mississippi and have been known for their very public Jack Daniels consumption over the years.

Manager Jeff Hanson commented on the band creating this new label: “When I met Saving Abel it was clear to me that they were doing everything themselves and their best asset was that they already had relationships with everyone they needed to be successful.  My advice to them was to start their own label and focus on getting paid for the work they were already doing. My motto as manager has always been to give an artist the best and most information to make their own decisions, which is what they've done. Now we just divide up the band, management AND label tasks every day, get up a little earlier, and get it all done. It really has proven to them that if you want something done to your satisfaction, do it yourself.”
