BRIEFCASE BLUES SIGNS ARTIST CONTRACT WITH INTEGRITY MUSIC MANAGEMENT
We are excited to announce that Briefcase Blues TM out of Dallas, TX has signed an Artist Contract with Integrity Music Management. The longest-running and firstestablished tribute to the Blues Brothers, Briefcase Blues is a great addition to the IMM family, and it is an honor to represent this legendary showband. In addition to paying tribute to the personae of “Jake” and “Elwood” since 1983 (by frontmen-entertainers J. Leggio and Lee Schwing, respectively), Briefcase Blues is backed with an eight-piece band that has been comprised of award-winning musicians from all over the U.S., bringing to the stage powerhouse performances that have concertgoers jumping and singing along; from L.A. to New York - from Canada to Mexico (and even Japan) - a knockout show that knows when “to cook” and when to“play it cool”, always putting on a show that holds the audience in the palm of its collective hand.
Besides live performances and a number of live-performance videos and recordings, Briefcase Blues holds the distinction of having been chosen over every other Blues Brothers tribute in 2012 for the JUST DANCE 4 interactive dance game (Ubisoft), lending their voices and horns to an exacting re-dux of “Everybody (Needs Somebody To Love)”.
While a seasoned headline act in its own right for over 31 years, Briefcase Blues has also logged appearances with the original band WAR, The Young Rascals, Kool &The Gang, Joe Walsh and Glenn Frey, Foghat, Spencer Davis, Jefferson Starship, as well as comedians Dennis Miller, Cheech & Chong, Rich Little and Sinbad. “We even did a show that was hosted by “Wally Cleaver” (actor Tony Dow) and “Eddie Haskell” (actor Ken Osmond).”That was one crazy night!” said Leggio. Together, Integrity Music Management and Briefcase Blues will continue to do just what the original Blues Brothers did; an entertaining tribute to the music called “the blues” in all its many forms.
