1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
The band was formed December 12th in 2005 by Christer, Egil and Bjørnar and some other high school friends. We played mostly Guns N' Roses songs with Egil starting out as singer before he found the drums. Bjørnar used to sing with Christer only playing guitar for some years before he left and Christer took the mic. Some demos was recorded at a time where only Crister and Egil was in the band. Then in late 2010 the Evil Never Dies lineup was formed and Bjørnar got back with us last year so now the lineup is Christer on vox/Guitars, Egil on Drums, Eimund on Bass and Bjørnar on guitars!
2. Why did you pick the name that you did for your band?
The name was picked about a year or so before the band was formed as Christer discovered Guns N' Roses and wanted to have a band with that name. It's taken from the GN'R song "Garden Of Eden".
3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?
We are the only band around where we live as its pretty small, but if you travel about an hour you'll find a good local music scene!
4. How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
We play Horror Thrash, which is Old School Metal mostly thrash, but also other elements with Horror storylines so all our albums are concept. Influences are many but King Diamond, Testament, Iron Maiden, Arthur Brown, Mercyful, Death, the list goes on.
5. What can people expect from this new album, why should they be interested and check it out?
Because it's fresh and new! Horror story and Thrash! They can expect diversity, there is everything from Heavy chunkin guitars to beautiful acoustic!
6. Do you play live as well? What do you have planned in terms of shows and touring, if any?
We play as often as we get the chance! We toured Europe in November/December in 2013 with Marduk and Grave and later supported Diamond Head in Norway as well as Tankard.
7. What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
Horror Thrash pretty much says it all and because we have our own twist on things. we mix everything together that many others would not dare to.
8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?
More albums, We have a lot of music ready to be recorded so as it looks now, we will be back in the studio next year and maybe a tour before the end of this year! so more music and more touring it is!
