The band took some time to briefly discuss who they are, what they have been up too, and what can be expected from them in the future.
1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Exhortation was formed in 2014 after our vocalist Jordan Rosser and drummer Isaac Goldsmith decided to form a new band using material from their pre-existing band. The band now includes Isaac Goldsmith,Jonathan West, Spencer Molina, Seth Anderson, and Jordan Rosser
2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?
The term Exhortation is a biblical termed used to describe the action of speaking over someone with power. We decided to use that name due to the positive message we hope to spread.

Exhortation is based out of Dallas Fort Worth in Texas. The local scene is very much in a state of recovery right now, with some bands pushing the boundary of local music. For example. Under oblivion!

Melodic Pseudo Death Thrash!
