Johnny has been playing all over this country and Ryan was in the band “And then there were none” touring all over USA. There is no "Box" for Leaving Eden's Music.

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?
Eric: We thought, wouldn’t it be nice to take off, visit somewhere else and where we are now, planet earth represents “Eden” so thus, Leaving Eden. I think Pink Floyd got it right, “We’re just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl”, cause that’s where we are in a fish bowl, can’t leave. Fish don’t know there’s the rest of the planet out there, they can only see the room their bowl is in and they will never get out. Also depicts the struggle between Good and Evil.
3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?
Eric: We are in the Boston MA USA Area, I used to live across the street from Fenway Park (Boston Red Sox) where I could see every game from my apartment. I’m back in Methuen MA now, 30 Min North of Boston. I love the scene here in New England, we have a blast for sure! Our Motto, “We will play anyhow, anyway, anywhere so long as we can! That’s been the key to our success! If ya stay in the basement, that’s where you’ll remain.
4. How would you describe your style?
Eric: Like it says above, there is no box for Leaving Eden, pushing outside the boundaries of rock, hard rock, metal, unplugged, even mellow and pop. We have well over 100 songs. Some no one has ever heard. The goal, to record every one of them eventually.
5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?
Eric: Albums: Tied and Bound, Between Heaven and Hell, Welcome to My World and Pinnacle (Rock Ave Records USA California.) Expect cool melody, harmony, heavy riffs, and as I said some of those other nuances as stated above.
6. Do you have any new music in the works?
Eric: Yes, just got off the phone with record producer and friend Johnny K. (You may know some of his Grammy’s and other artists he helped to develop such as; Disturbed, Pop Evil, Staind, Finger 11, 3 Doors Down) to name a few. Gonna be a blast in cold ass Chicago, USA. We head there next month to record an EP.
7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?
Eric: Sure, we are planning to tour USA, Canada and Europe with great people working it all out for us!
8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?
Eric: I think every band hopes to dominate the air waves right, If they don’t how can they succeed. Everyone thinks their band is great! With that said, I know there’s better and worse artists than us, we hope to continue to make our mark. What I like about original music is that it is truly original and unique in a way that no one else is playing that song, anywhere in the entire universe, unless everyone is covering you’re tune, so in that sense, it is truly those artists that haven’t become “Superstars” that have always been and are forging the future of not only music but fashion, trendsetters. This is why we named our latest album “Pinnacle.” It’s at the tip of the spearhead, cutting through the future.
9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
Eric: All on line in all the online stores and of coarse @ http://www.leavingeden.com/. All our links below will connect you too our world!
10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?
Eric: Great Question! If the music is the “Engine” then the lyrics, the “Gasoline”. Leaving Eden’s lyrics are reality based and received through the universe. I keep referring to the universe only because that’s where we get everything from. All the knowledge that exists, that ever existed, and that will exist is there now. All one has to do is simply tap in. You’d be quite surprised what information comes your way when communicating with the Universe. You have yourself a great New Year and hope ta see ya when we pass on through your way! Peace!
