Japanese pop group Angela’s latest theme song “Calling you” will reach a worldwide audience today with the premiere of the Netflix original film BLAME!, based on the manga by Tsutomu Nihei.
Angela, formed by vocalist atsuko and guitarist KATSU, has created theme songs for many popular anime series, including FAFNER in the azure, K, KNIGHTS OF SIDONIA, Ajin, and Bodacious Space Pirates The Movie. They will perform a live concert in Los Angeles on July 1 at Anisong World Matsuri “Japan Super Live” at Anime Expo 2017.
BLAME! will be released in theaters in Japan on May 20 for a 2-week run in connection with its Netflix streaming release.
