The War on Drugs recently released a new song, "Holding On," and now the band have shared the music video. Creatively conceptualized by Krysten Ritter (star of "Jessica Jones" on Netflix) and directed by Brett Haley (I'll See You In My Dreams, The Hero), the video stars "The Wire"'s Frankie Faison along with frontman Adam Granduciel.
"Holding On" marks the first single off their forthcoming album, A Deeper Understanding, which arrives August 25 (Atlantic Records). They also recently released another track "Thinking of a Place" in April. The War on Drugs will embark on a two-month tour beginning in September.
