My Little Pony Through the Years a Paley Center Event
My Little Pony has been around for 35 long years, since its debut back in the 1980's era. It starting off as a toy, which would lead to the hit TV series, turned movie for the first generation, then later second, third, and a fourth generation, which is the current staple in the series time line. In celebration of this the Paley Center in Beverly Hills, California threw together an event taking place Saturday September 23rd 2017, of activities, ranging from photo opportunities, arts and crafts, giveaways, and a screening of episodes spanning through the series, minus some generations.
As it would have it generations 2-3 would not be shown, only generation 1 and 4, with the added extra of the spin off series to the current fourth generation series that is My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic, called My Little Pony Equestria Girls! The screening mini theater itself, had comfy seating arrangements, with a decent sounding set up throughout, as the handful of fans and guests too their seats. Beforehand though taking in the sights with taking a GIF photo, a live motion semi-photo/video, an arts and crafts studio with coloring, fan making, as well as a free giveaway of My Little Pony toys!
Live Photos:
After grabbing your free swag, snapping away at some photo opportunities, and arts and crafts, fans were in their seats, as a brief introduction was given by the Paley Center, bringing Equestria to Beverly Hills, California! The scene was set as the screen and lighting dimmed, and an array of episodes played off the screen for the next couple of hours, fans both kids, teens, to adults, giggled and laughed, enjoying the classics to the current generations of the My Little Pony series.
All in all though it was a fun time, a nice time, one time that could be enjoyed with your family, friends, or lonesome, all who was there was a fan of the ponies, the My Little Pony ponies of course! My Little Pony being around for 35 years and counting is a sure fire way, for it to continue onward, bringing in more generations for many more years to come!
