Alt-Americana singer-songwriter, Butch Parnell, announced details for this latest EP, The Fall, which has been set for release on November 17th, 2017. The Fall is a 6-track collection of soulful, emotionally-driven, and slightly twangy tunes that will appeal to fans of artists like The Lemonheads, Brandi Carlile, or The Lone Bellow. Butch Parnell describes the EP as, "...a familiar story of love and loss that I've tried to tell as simply and without pretense as I can."
"Give Me A Reason" off the EP has been made available as the debut track, and Butch Parnell explains it further saying "It's kind of a classic 'boy meets girl who is great for him, but boy is not mature enough to handle an actual functioning relationship so he runs off into the night back to the chaos of people and temptation that is not good for him.' This song was written as a plea for the girl to come after the boy and convince him to stay. But, the girl understands that the boy is just a self-conscious teenager caught in an adult body and doesn't." - Butch Parnell
