HALO CIRCUS RETURN AS TWO PIECE DUO WITH NEW SONG "NARCISSIST"

Allison Iraheta’s critically acclaimed Halo Circus have returned with a bold and incendiary new single, "Narcissist." The track, which premiered on Billboard.com, sees the duo ditching the four piece rock band aesthetics and opting for a lyrically audacious and in your face electronic sound.

"We spent every day on tour on our phones on social media," Iraheta told Billboard when speaking about the inspiration behind the new single. "You get to a point where you wake up, turn to the phone and you're immersed in that world. Whether you want to be or not, it's all screaming in your face. That being said, it was also incredibly fun to sing."

"Narcissist" is now available to stream on Apple Music, Spotify, and Soundcloud at the following links:

"Narcissist" will be featured on the duo’s forthcoming Robots and Wranglers album, which is the follow up to 2016’s Bunny full-length and last year’s The East Lansing Sessions EP. Mixed by renowned producer Craig Bauer (Rihanna, Kanye West) the new album sees the band shedding their rock skin and adopting a more electronic sonic approach. Robots and Wranglers drops on March 16th.

"We've always seen Halo Circus as an art project," says Iraheta when describing the band’s sonic shift. "The first album was an alternative rock album, the EP bordered on Americana, and this album is the logical next step for us. We wanted to make an electronic album that was cinematic in scope and sounded like it was recorded on a spaceship."

Along with the premiere of "Narcissist," the band have also announced a 24-date U.S. tour that kicks off in March. Full dates (more TBA) are below:

As Halo Circus prepare for the release of their sophomore album and nationwide tour, the spotlight is finding them once again. This past weekend, Allison Iraheta had the pleasure of performing a duet at industry legend Clive Davis’ Grammy Party with Latin crossover superstar, Luis Fonsi. Recently, new FOX singing competition The Four—featuring Sean Combs, DJ Khaled, and Meghan Trainor—reached out to Allison to help work on the pilot, citing her as a trailblazing artist that is pushing the boundaries of music and the business of music. Last year, Iraheta was featured on the Nine Inch Nails EP, "Add Violence."
