Bongo Boy Records, is not just a record label catering to an international roster of various artists, but it is also a television show series airing on real live TV, among streaming services online of course. This brings the record label to have it's TV series merely titled the Bongo Boy Rock n Roll TV Show, in it's seventh season on episode 10, called "Rebalance", featuring several music videos by such artists as Dhruv Visvannath, Radiator King, MKX, Kelly Padrick, Kyla Imani, Jackie Green, and My Silence Bravery.

Kicking things off is India’s own Dhruv Visvanath’s “Wild”, track and accompanying video, which go rather hand in hand with one another, as it plays off rather nicely. The artist’s vocalization being calming yet peaceful, the music being acoustically driven, making the track being nice in all areas of it playing off from start to finish.

Next up comes New York artist Radiator King with his track “So Long (Charlie)”, his styling falls along the lines of sounding like country crossed with acoustic rock, or folk even. His voice being much like a lot of the modernized pop acts in and around the music scene currently these days. The track plays off just like the previous one, being more acoustic based, keeping things heavy yet deep with such depth, it makes it more rounded and fine.

MXK is next and is from Boston terrain, and right off the bat comes “One Sided Love”, taking on the likes of rap and hip hop sense, the styling being a lot like Drake, meets with Nelly. The song plays off mellow yet soft, keeping the melodies at a steady beat, that you can easily sing along to or bob your head with really. It becomes somewhat catchy yet lots of fun for the ears.

Kelly Padtrick’s “Heavenly Ride”, out of Los Angeles plays off next, this female artist bringing the sunny sides of the sunshine state, one of many, alive. Whilst the sunny days of the summer time have come and gone, with the fall season in full swing,  Kelly makes the summer time come back again. Her style being a mix up of pop, rock, and some country elements if only slightly. Her voice make the beats of the track pop out, become upbeat and catchy at times, it becomes a type of track that becomes a repeatable type, that leaves you feeling the heat of the sun shinning once more from the summer time.

Another New Yorker is Kyla Imani, featuring a guest spot from Jay Critch, with the track titled “Sitting Up In My Room”, this one, is a lot like the other artist off this episode’s listing as MKX. Except Kyla’s style is a female than male. Her style being still rap mixed with hip hop, but more on the level, sounding more fluid yet in check with the music happening around the entirety of the track as a whole. In short, the track becomes very comfortable in term’s of style, that it is enjoyable with lots of beats to sway your body to. That guest spot given from Jay Critch adds some flare that makes the track more fulfilling and even more body lifting to dance to and move around to as well.

“Crazy Comes Easy”, is one to come out of Jackie Green, another California resident. Whose style is purely country and rock instantly. His style being much like a lot of the other country acts in and around the country scene, except the added addition of this track, makes it more entertaining due to it’s energy driven passion. The flow of it, as it goes along, makes the track much more fun, it picks up the pace at times, as it never fails to slow down but keep up with all going on. It likely to become a track that you can hear at all times, never getting bored or annoyed by it.

Lastly is My Silent Bravery’s “Everyday is the Weekend”, out of Worcester, whose styling is pop rock merely. Keeping your mind off all else, but the music happening. The energy involved within this particular track is so much fun, it keeps you wanting more, that you cannot get enough of it. If you are not tapping your feet to the beat, then by all means you are easily just having an outgoing sense of time just hearing it as a whole.

Overall really, Bongo Boy’s episode 10 of season 7 titled “Rebalance”, is packed with an assortment of artists and acts, that keep the music fresh and highly entertaining as a whole. These acts being some to take notice of as a whole.

The four seasons, of fall, winter, summer, and spring, is not just about the weather conditions but about the holidays and spending time with those who you care and love the most. But most of all, the music that falls in-between all of it, thus includes musician Greg Herriges and his most recent release "Christmas! Revel and Ritual: Holiday Music for the World".

This album of sorts, brings together his genre choices of folk, rock, world, and acoustic. Together he brings all of the holidays into one solid collection of works, that it becomes a pure classic rather instantly. Like take such tracks as "Birjina Gazetto Bat Zegoen (Trad. Basque)", the opener being clearly a tale of angels, takes the listener on a journey out of this world, that you become fond of the track more so than normal. When another track like “Sakura, Sakura (Trad. Japanese)", is more in-depth with the listener, the tune becoming more mellow yet grounded and fair. It soothes you and creates this pace of peace and guidance. Whereas a track like "Shchedryk (Trad. Ukrainian)", is more upfront and being traditional, that all should know it. Hearing such a familiarity makes the track more fun to the ear, that it becomes pure joy from every note played out.

When it comes down to this album, Greg Herriges’ style is so filled with spirit and grace, it becomes magical in all its containment. After playing through the album at least once, you are taken into the holiday spectrum never to forget it. Hearing such an album as “Christmas! Reveal and Ritual: Holiday Music for the World”, does take you to a whole another world, a new one that you can partake in and wonder how it can turn out, with such merry and glee, no other words to depict its passion of music and timely year.

Fabp Aka Fabpz the Freelancer has such an assortment of content his most extensive is his release titled "From Then Til' Now 2011-2015" released back in 2015. This mixtape of tracks, contains not just 10 or even 20 tracks of material, but 39 tracks total. All of which being recorded by Fabp Aka Fabpz the Freelancer himself during those years of 2011 through 2015.

Opening up the mixtape is the track titled "Blasting Blasting", which brings forth an idea of what to expect, from this hip hop, rapper, whose work is shall we say decent enough. The track being grounded yet fine, whereas other tracks such as  "Dip It Dung", "Anytime I See", "Come Get It Girl", "I Chat This", "Do It Do It", "Be Strong", "Type of Man", and "Sing On the Mic", are all a mix bag of sorts really.

Each one being different but similar as well. Like take “Dip It Dung” and “Anytime I See”, have similar traits in the sense of styling, but the vocalization is purely different. Same goes for the others like “Come Get It Girl” and “I Chat This”, they have a similarity in the styling ways, of beats and melodies, but the vocals are all different. The tone even sounds not much alike but slightly, due to the time frame given.

As for the others “Do It Do It”, “Be Strong”, “Type of Man”, and “Sing On the Mic”, along with the entirety of the whole mixtape that is “From Then Til’ Now 2011-2015”, as a wholesome truths about it all, it is just built up as this extensive array of content that is is endless at times. You think it wraps up but it keeps going never ending. The material being different yet so much alike, it becomes tiring at time when listening in. But you continue to hear it, because you want to see how it turns out upon each of the many tracks offered off it.

Fabp Aka Fabpz the Freelancer’s releases seem to never disappointment that much, but become content  that can be tamed yet sought out after. In other words, the material has stuff to go off of, that make it listenable and right.

Leah Capelle's performing art of music began at young age, through study and performances done through the Chicago School of Professional Singing, along with the The North Shore Music Institute, and the Berklee College of music before her move to Los Angeles, making music her full time set-up. Over time she would continue to perform, even write and record her own music, including her most recent and newest release "Giants" out this year, with single "Out of Love".

Upon the "Giants" release, this EP is follow-up dealing with the deepest of struggles, including such as self-identity, relationships, depression, anxiety, and even pressures from within and without a lot of these mannerisms, that many us have faced ourselves at some point or time. When listening to such a track as "Out of Love", the opener off of the "Giants", EP, is just another one of those tracks that people ca relate to and feel like they are the person singing out loud. Being able to feel like they know the performer at hand, laying everything out for all to see or hear in this case.

The way of how this song is put together is mellow yet driven. It takes the music down a passionate route, making it become more than just passionate and mellow but very meaningful, fulfilling really. The music consuming you, overwhelming you with not the lyrics but music more so. It all becomes so overwhelming it is unreal that it sometimes feels uncomfortable yet ends up being comforting. Leah’s vocal skills being bright yet edgy at times, it makes the track more welcoming with each play through.

In short, “Out of Love”, off the “Giants” EP release, is a type of opener to a release, that has great promise for itself. It being a draw in, that will take the listener down a path, that makes them feel things. Just wanting a tad more, showcasing just so raw talent, it becomes so much more after hearing it.

Since the release of their debut lead single "Bills To Pay", off their debut EP release "I've Got Something To Say...", rock n' rollers One In The Chamber has had this release be a process in the works for over a year! Between recording and production upon this release in-between performances across the plains of Ontario, this EP would then go on to be finalized being produced further, then engineered, mixed, and mastered by Murray Daigle. With this release comes a statement that the band has to say, it is to bring back rock n' roll music to its roots of the gritty and glamour's kind!

Thus with that said, that lead single "Bills To Pay", as an exposure of which brought forth the modernized styling of which belongs to One In The Chamber, their style aligning within the modernized times of the day, except has you think of a time of the past. Think of the vinyl selection of the then and now, their style being a lot like Queens of the Stone Age crossed with Buckcherry! Their style of just that track alone, keeps that rock n' roll vivid and fluid. Think of edginess meets progression in their tone of music. The same goes for a number of the other tracks off this EP, like "Crooked Step", "Something To Say", and "Itchin Back". These song selections being very edgy and very much like Buckcherry's classic rock n' roll style, if not even some newer likes to Papa Roaches' works.

When it comes to it, this EP "I've Got Something To Say...", is just filled from beginning to end with a handful of material, that keeps the content fresh yet fulfilling with each play through. The energy of the vocal chords and instrumentals, makes it all come full circle. It becomes an EP to round off your year, striking right into the next, if not many more to follow suit. It is how One In The Chamber plays their tunes, and makes their music so fun and outgoing, it is driven with much to play with and enjoy.

Indie pop, alternative act Cinders have an all new album coming out soon enough titled "Looking Forward To Looking Back". After it's release, the band is set with intentions to play all over the place. Not having any plan on stopping at least not anytime soon! The band goes into much greater detail about themselves and this new album.

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

Cinders is Jordan Zabriskie, Montana Smith, Adrian De La Cruz, Chelsey Powell, Austin Harris, and Brad Bennett. Formed in 2015, The rowdy-acoustic-pop group is attaining success across the United States, as well as continuously growing success internationally.

We like to say that we were friends first and a band second. A few of us met in high school while others met later in life around different parts of the country. We all had a common passion for creating art, and we all have a desire to make something bigger than ourselves. With a shared love of music it wasn't difficult to to get Cinders started.

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

There was a song that a few of the members had written together when they were teenagers called "Cinders". It wasn't a great song, but at the time it was really exciting to all be writing and playing music together. So when we decided we wanted to step into music as a career we thought it would be fitting to take on the name Cinders as a throw back to the first days jamming together.

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

We are based out of Salt Lake City, Utah! The music scene here is definitely growing. There are a lot of awesome musicians by us that we have played with pretty often. Our current local favorite is Indigo Waves. They are just starting up and they are already killing it! I'm sure you will be hearing their name a lot more soon.

4. How would you describe your style?

Our favorite description we have heard is "rowdy-acoustic-pop". That pretty much sums up our genre! It is a good mix of pop melodies and driving alternative rock instrumentation. The acoustic presence adds to the character and personality of the music, and brings in a positive and energetic vibe.

5.What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

It has now been 2 years since the release of our self titled album and we are stoked to announce the release of our second record! Looking Forward to Looking Back will be streaming everywhere September 29th! This album has taken a good part of those 2 years to complete. It is much heavier instrumentally and lyrically than our previous release. It carries the same fun feeling and relatable element but in a but in a brand new way.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

Looking Forward to Looking Back and the 11 tracks on that album are all brand new songs that will be available everywhere on September 29th! We are always working on new music though and don't plan on keeping you waiting too long for even more new music.

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

We will be on the road for the rest of this year touring the new album. We will primarily be on the West Coast this Fall and Winter, but in 2019 you can expect to see us around the rest of the country!

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

We are excited about the journey of this album. We intend to tour the rest of the country and the world with it. We feel extremely blessed and thankful for where our music and work has brought us and we don't plan on stopping anytime soon!

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

You can check out our website cindersmusic.com for physical copies of our records and other awesome merch! Our music is also available on all streaming services including Spotify and Apple Music.

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

We just hope that they remember that as much as they like a song, it's way better if you have someone to enjoy it with. Looking Forward to Looking Back comes out September 29th! Make sure to follow on Spotify and Apple Music so that you can hear it first!

Extreme rockers LEAVING EDEN have an all new album titled "Descending" coming soon, with a single off it called "Jailbreak", and a tour across the East Coast of the U.S.A. following suite. So much planned out with so little time to take it all in, there is much more to be talked about, and that is what precisely the band goes about doing.

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

Hey man it's Eric Gynan co-founder from the rock band Leaving Eden out of the Boston Mass area USA and it's a pleasure to talk with you here.  Leaving Eden has definitely been around the block. The music is heavy sometimes acoustic sometimes has a beat that you can dance to so it's kind of hard to put into a box so to speak. Fronted by Eve she really has an incredible stage presence and connection with every crowd.

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

We thought that the planet Earth is considered the Garden of Eden and since it's so full of corruption and Hate wouldn't it be nice to go somewhere else, thus leaving Eden.

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

As I said we're from the Boston Mass area USA. Boston where the Free World started. It's good to be here. The music scene is really what you make it. Each band and their friends. There's a lot of good local bands around ya just gotta get out there and go see them. If it wasn't for our friends we wouldn't be anybody so we're thankful.  It takes people to create a scene.  People that want to gather and have fun, so we employ everyone to get out there, that’s how history is made and it can happen at anytime!

4. How would you describe your style?

As I said it is heavy but then we play some acoustic stuff and play some stuff with the dance beat fronted by Eve a female vocalist. We got some keyboards bass guitars and drums.

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

We started out with albums "Tied and Bound", "Between Heaven and Hell", "Welcome to my World", "Pinnacle", "Out of the Ashes" and we are releasing "Descending", our new album in October. I think other than some great songs they can expect some really good production.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

Our "Descending", album, we released a single from Thin Lizzy called "Jailbreak", (Recorded/mixed By Johnny K. (Disturbed, Pop Evil, Staind, 3 Doors Down,) Mastered by Brad Blackwood (Sevendust, Dave Mathews, Adelitas way, Korn) and Produced by myself reinterpreted by Leaving Eden.

"Jailbreak" is going to be on our new album to be released October 19th 2018 again called "Descending" through Dark Star records/Sony music worldwide. "JAILBREAK"
OFFICIAL LYRIC VIDEO PERFORMED BY LEAVING EDEN, A SONG BY THIN LIZZY
I'm excited about Descending because it was recorded @ Leaving Eden’s Studio. We were able to take all the time we needed and really craft this album to be exactly what we wanted it to be. I did a premix on it and sent it off to Bob St John for the Final Mix and Mastering. Bob is a Grammy award-winning engineer and has done bands like Duran Duran, Extreme, Collective Soul, Steven Tyler. Such a great guy to work with too.

Our albums are released through dark Star Records /Sony music so you can literally buy our stuff worldwide anywhere. We do have merchandise for sale on our website as well. You can listen on any of the streaming platforms like Spotify. The easiest thing anybody can do to support any band is listen to this songs on platforms like Spotify because it does pay the artist something not much but I always say this, imagine if Millions listened every day then the artists would make some serious money so if you enjoy listening to artists find them on Spotify and while you're enjoying their music you're helping the band.  It’s the best way to support a band for free.

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

For me I think it's the lyrics really listen to the lyrics and you can find the lyrics on our website as well to all of our albums. The lyrics are driven from real life situations and experiences.  Good bad or indifferent they're all there because you never know what life has to throw at you at any time.  Sometimes it's great sometimes it is catastrophic but I like to reflect on everything that comes about. It's been a pleasure talking with you wish you the best and rock on man peace.

Scant Regard began in 2011, as a solo project, after Will Crewdson the person behind this act, was involved with other bands and music in general. Now that this project has been active, the electro, pop, rockabilly, industrialist funk go getter is going to continue it for all it is worth! With a handful of works, already out in the open, with more material underway, shows lined-up to pass the time, with so much more, there is no stopping Scant Regard!

1. Please tell us about the history of your project?

I started doing Scant Regard as a solo project in 2011 after having played for years in bands like Rachel Stamp and for artists like Adam Ant. Now I try and do both.

It was something I’d always wanted to do but never had the time before. I immediately loved the freedom of playing on my own and being able to fuse the electronic music that I admired with my guitar playing.

2. What’s the origin of the project's name?

Scant Regard stands for not having to care about anything else around whether that be current trends or other bands. As well as that I liked the way the words looked and sounded.

3. Where is the project based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

I’m based in London. The music scene is still thriving but like anywhere else it’s harder to find a focused trend as venues are forever closing and re-branding themselves.

I’d recommended The Blue Carpet Band as they seem to not give a fuck to the degree I admire and they have a great image and front man.

4. How would you describe your style?

I was described as a 21st Century Link Wray. I’ll go with that.

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

I’ve had 5 albums out. Starting from more experimental instrumental soundtrack-like stuff and now covering lots more bases. My latest album "Skipping Over Damaged Area", still carries on that blueprint but there’s more vocals and choruses going on.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

I’m just about to put out a cover version EP called "BUTCHERIZATION" and I’m always working on new tracks so hopefully there’ll be another full album out next year.

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

I’m playing in Los Angeles at the Redwood Bar on November 12th as I’ll be over there already playing guitar with The Selecter on their west coast tour. After that the next UK gig will be December 7th at the brilliant Rockaway Beach club at the London Hope and Anchor.

8. What plans do you have for the future as a project?

More gigs hopefully. I’m happy to go anywhere and plug in and do it. One of the best reactions I’ve had live was in Berlin so I’d love to do more German and European dates.

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

All links at www.scantregard.com - you can get CD’s direct from me there. I’m also on Spotify and all the rest of the garbage.

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

Whatever they see when they close their eyes.

All orders include an immediate download of the lead single, “Shore” and access to weekly updates and exclusive content as the band gears up for the album release on November 26, 2018 via Intervention Arts.

Now based in the USA, The Awakening is a musical project originally from South Africa, founded by singer, songwriter and producer Ashton Nyte. The Awakening has released 8 albums to date, along with Ashton Nyte's 7 solo albums. Nyte has also contributed lyrics and vocals to recent releases by MGT (Peter Murphy, The Mission) as well to Michael Ciravolo’s Beauty In Chaos project, which features members of The Cure, The Mission, Ministry and many more.

Nyte has said that the primary motivation for The Awakening’s extensive album campaign is to see the band back on the road, on a world-wide tour in 2019. The band last toured with The Mission in 2016 on a 17 date sold out tour, spanning 12 European countries. “It feels magical to be putting out a new Awakening album again. Most of all I look forward to sharing the songs with the fans in a live environment again. That completes the circle for me.” - Ashton Nyte

Bristol-based alternative-rock trio, Oxygen Thief have shared the new riff-ladened single "Graffiti; Irony; Lists", alongside announcing full details of their new album, "Confusion Species", set for release on November 16th through Xtra Mile Recordings.

Confusion Species will be available on limited edition 12 inch transparent blue and orange with black splatter vinyl - Available from Oxygen Thief on tour, as well as a very limited amount through the Xtra Mile webstore. "Confusion Species", will also be available on 12 inch transparent blue at retail. Pre-Order here: https://oxygenthief.lnk.to/confusionspecies.

It’s been just over four years since the release of Oxygen Thief’s second album, "The Half-Life Of Facts", and the world has changed a lot in that time. In fact, a lot has changed since Barry Dolan started the project in Bristol back in 2006, and the 11 tracks of "Confusion Species" are the sound of him trying to make sense of it all, rather than be overwhelmed, lost and consumed by the sludge and noise of this modern, post-Brexit, post-Trump world.

“Everyone is constantly bombarded with things in the news and on social media" says guitarist and vocalist, Barry Dolan. “Your phone’s going off all the time and there’s a constant need to keep up with things. As someone who tries to be politically engaged, I want to stay informed, but there’s a point where that tide just becomes overwhelming.”

Heavy metal of the traditional new wave kind is what Children Of The Reptile considers themselves to be. In this case, they have a few releases, including most recent being a full-length titled "The End". According to them the two full-length are about 45 minutes in length time-wise, with the EP at 25 minutes in length of time. So in other words, it's a lot of good riffs to go around. As such, vocalist/guitarist Ozzie Darden goes into further details about their music and future plans!

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

Ozzie: We truly started in 2010 with most of the current members onboard. Chrils Millard(guitar) and I formed the band after leaving our former bands. David Hufham (Bass) and Jon Kiker (Drums), high school friends of Chris, jumped onboard and we gelled pretty quickly. We played around North Carolina recording songs whenever we had made enough money to do so. In 2013, we released our first album. (“Children of the Reptile”) Shortly thereafter, Jon Kiker, our first drummer, quit the band for personal reasons. A few attempts were made to replace him and a few shows played, but it took until 2015 to get a truly permanent and stylistically appropriate replacement in Chase Kelly. Since Chase stabilized the throne, we’ve put out “The 4 Weapons EP” in 2016 and just a few short weeks ago, released our second full length album called “The End.”

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

Ozzie: It’s actually the name of a song I wrote for my old band, Death Machine Weapon,s that we never played. It was based on the Reptites from the SNES game Chrono Trigger. They were sort of a primordial race of reptilian hyper intelligent humanoids who attempted to exterminate the early humans in 65,000,000 B.C in the game’s timeline. I wrote the song about them, titled it “Children of the Reptile” and decided to make it my next band’s name. We still play the song, it’s the last track on our first record and still one of our best, in my opinion.

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

Ozzie: We’re based out of Wilmington North Carolina. The scene here is pretty fruitful for heavy music. We’re the home of Weedeater, Toke, ASG, Sourvein, and Thunderlip. So it’s a pretty top heavy scene. We’ve been sort of in a lull for new metal bands but it seems like there’s finally some other bands starting to pop up. Our favorite local band is called Mortal Man, though. If you like metal or hard rock, you gotta check out their bandcamp page.

4. How would you describe your style?

Ozzie: So, if you’re a fan of the New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal, you’ll like us. We try not to just ape bands from 1982 or whatever because we really like Mastodon and Death and shit like that too. But our foundation will always be in Iron Maiden, Manilla Road, Black Sabbath, Thin Lizzy, etc.

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

“Children of the Reptile” - Full Length, 2013
“The 4 Weapons EP” - EP, 2016
“The End” - Full Length, 2018

The full lengths are about 45 minutes, the EP is about 25. You can expect a lot of good fuckin’ riffs!

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

Ozzie: We’re always writing something but nothing new is completed as a band right now. We expect to be playing brand new material live by the middle of the year, and hopefully start recording it by the end of 2018.

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

Ozzie: We just went on a short string of dates in support of “The End” so nothing big planned out right now. We’d like to make a run up north over the summer if possible, but due to our lives and jobs and all that lame shit, it’ll probably be a run of less than a week. It’s just the reality of modern touring, unfortunately, everything is more expensive. I’m 34 and married. The other guys are in their mid 20's but we all gotta show up at work most days, you know?

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

Ozzie: We really just wanna have fun and take it as far as we can while not hemorrhaging money. None of us wanna be rock stars but we want people to hear our music. If our ceiling is “regional well loved touring act” that’s fine with us.

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

Best spot is on bandcamp: (https://cotr.bandcamp.com/). You can listen to and buy all of it there! If you want physical copies, best thing to do is message us on our Facebook page.

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

Ozzie: To me, the best thing about metal is that is gets the imagination firing. I think we all aim to do that with our music in this band, so if somebody remembers just getting that heroic or evil feeling creeping into their bones after a particularly powerful riff we’ll have done our jobs.

Hard rock band NoClue, was a thing way back when, shall we say in the 80's to 90's then the band would separate, forming under an all new namesake NewClue. Their most recent debut being an EP titled "Mystic Winds", with all else being in the works in regards to shows and more music. The band goes into discussion about their re-formation, music, and more.

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

Wow, that’s a long story… As formed in the very late ’80's playing clubs all over New England, “New Clue” was “No Clue” back in the day. After about 6 or 7 years, we went our separate ways. Of course there were multiple changes of the players throughout the years but the current line-up is the best of what was “No Clue” at one time.

Vocals: Neil Whittington
Guitar: William Gould Jr.
Bass: Brian Dickinson
Drums: Joe Cetrone

The 2014 reformation of yesteryear’s “New Clue”, has gained awards, a record contract with the release of our EP – “Mystic Winds”, 03/25/2016 on Unable Records in Cherry Hill, NJ. Now in rotation and hitting the charts. on many Internet Radio Stations, Networks & Shows.  We gained awards on its release.

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

I have No Clue, lol.

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

New England (RI & CT)… Today, we are a writing & recording project. With members that are also members of other bands and focuses in life . Our drummer Joe is in “Holy Diver” - A Tribute to Ronnie James Dio. They gig almost every weekend. We recommend you check them out… Google them!

4. How would you describe your style?

Nostalgic Metal Reborn with a “New Clue”.

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

On CDBaby, we released an LP “Blast From the Past” just after our reformation in 2014. It’s a lot of the recordings that we did in the “No Clue” days. Combined with some recordings that Will had recorded some music tracks that he gave to Neil and he wrote some stories to tell over them (lyrics). Done on our own.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

Not actively. We put everything into our Rebirth and are banking on its success. Give it a listen. Hope that you like it & download it to your libraries or buy the CD too at www.unablerecords.com/newclue. You can Google search us & find MANY sites streaming our songs.

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

That is all based on sales of our EP. If it goes well, well then we go tour. We did our gigging in clubs when we were “No Clue”. It was lots of fun! We drew BIG crowds.  Joey is still giggin & active in “Holy Diver” but we are a writing & recording project. You get to hear the best of us.

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

Again, that is all based on sales of our EP. If it goes well then we go on tour to play it live. Then back into the studio with the funds from its sales. We are still writing but are putting all of our efforts into helping the world catch a NewClue with  “Mystic Winds”

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

The world of radio listeners is our stage. The largest is “The 365 Radio Network”. They have our songs in rotation on their 22 stations. Plus others (Radio WIGWAM in the UK, Digital Revolution Radio, Kool Rock Radio and more). Plus many radio shows have us in rotation (WHJY’s - Sound Check, Ralph’s Music of the World, Liege of Cookies, Rock Candy Radio Show and many others). You can also find us on college radio stations or any Music Streaming sites (SoundCloud, SoundClick, ReverbNation, NumberOneMusic, MusicClout .com & etc). Anyone can Google search us out & find MANY sites and internet radio stations to hear us. To download or pick up a CD go to www.unablerecords.com/newclue. There are many links to download from (Spotify, iTunes, Amazon Music, Deezer, Qobuz) or order it on CD there too.

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

We are NOSALGIC METAL REBORN with a NewClue… Metal that was BIG when AC/DC, Iron Maiden, QueensRyche, Led Zeppelin & more were in your ears. With a new twist (Short intros… BANG into the song). We had to cut out all of the intros to made it more “Today”.

Heavy metal, rockers Crown of Earth, have released their self-titled album as of late, with newer music as process in the making of course! Besides that, they will be playing some shows coming up with a lot more planned out! Frontman vocalist Danny Knight talks about the band, their music and all of the plans set for many years to come.

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

Danny: Hello everyone! I’m Danny Knight. I’d be glad to answer your questions. Thanks for
the opportunity!

Well, Crown of Earth started out as a couple of guys trying to put a band together in the basement. Michael Ellis (Guitarist and cofounder for COE) and his best buddy for many years, Nikki Shannon (on Drums), they had some songs together and they needed a lead guitarist to lay down a solo on a track called Pile Driver (find it on Crown of Earth’s debut CD release). They somehow got in contact with a friend of mine named Christopher Graziola (Lead Guitarist). They met with Chris and they tracked the song the very next day. Well, it went over so well that they decided to continue jamming together.

As some time went on, Christopher kept asking me to check out a project he’s in, called Megalon. You know that creature that fought with Godzilla? I’ll tell you about that some other time. Well, I wasn’t in the right frame of mind to get into a band at the time. I just wasn’t feeling it, but Chris asked me enough times to finally convince me to check out what he had going on. I finally made it over to Mike’s house in Northeast Philadelphia where they were rehearsing and I jumped into a couple of their songs. I really liked what I heard so I decided to keep working with them. We built up a good team and everyone was on the same page. We all know how hard to find that can be. I called in a friend on bass, Matt Harrigan, and we began to rehearse and eventually recorded the self titled debut album, CROWN OF EARTH. I really hope you enjoy it because we’re all very proud of it.

Due to scheduling constraints with Matt, the decision was made to bring in MarkyZ on bass to cover the live shows. MarkyZ transitioned into our current and long lasting bassist. Shortly after a few drummer hiccups and a number of drummer changes, we finally landed our current drummer, Vinny Corrado.

Band members:

Vocals - Danny Knight
Lead Guitar - Christopher Graziola
Rythem Guitar - Michael Ellis
Bass - MarkyZ
Drums - Vinny Corrado

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

Danny: Hahaha, this is a good one. You must know what a tough road bands travel down in order to ask this question? It’s always difficult for bands to find that “right name”. Well, Crown of Earth started out as Megalon. You know the creature that fights Godzilla? Well, I contacted the Japanese company who owns the rights to “Megalon” and they politely asked me to choose a different name. So we went back to the drawing board and started throwing names at each other again. One day I went to the local library and came across a children's series of books, so I brought my list of suggestions to the guys at rehearsal and Mike Ellis noticed Crown of Earth on my list and really loved it. He said it reminded him of Black Sabbath’s original name “Earth”. I did the typical domain name search and to me, if any dot.com was available, at that point, I would have selected any name. Everything just fell into place and low and behold, it was available and here we are. So for me, the main reason the name fit us is because it had an available .com that we could use. Hahaha Check us out at www.crownofearth.com.

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

Danny: CROWN OF EARTH was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We established a pretty good fan base and I really feel that we are on solid ground here. I think our name is well known on the local level and surrounding regions. Yes, there are many bands that I can recommend but it would take all day… a few to mention off the top would be: Eyes of the Living, Apex Predator, New Breed of Villan, Traverse the Abyss, Mach 22, Infernal Opera, there are so many more around here, it’s just too many to list. Maybe you could go on our COE Facebook Page and see who is “liked” and pick some out from there? Go ahead and have a field day!

4. How would you describe your style?

Danny: Basically we’re all on the same page when it comes to our musical influences. They pretty much stem from all the hard hitting, timeless artist in Rock and Metal history. A lot of the influence comes from the (NWOBHM) movement in the 80’s. However, our drummer Vinny Corrado has a more modern metal musical influence brought to us by bands such as: The Black Dahlia Murder, Killswitch Engage, Death, Within The Ruins. He’s fairly diversified on the metal scene.

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

Danny: Our debut CD was released and has been well received. However, we are currently recording new songs for our next album. We will be releasing a new song around the end of June called “Deth Becomes You” ...yes, it's spelled correctly. Please find our current album at this link here… https://www.crownofearth.com/shop. Also go search iTunes , CDBaby, and Amazon. If you like melodic vocals, major guitar riffage, plenty of guitar solo’s, heavy bass lines with melody, and pounding drums, then I think it’s safe to say that you might enjoy our music, too.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

Danny: As I stated above, we will be releasing a new song at the end of June. It will be in rotation on D.J. Titan’s show on www.digitalrevolutionradio.com as part of a competition of “Indie Label Bands” versus “Major Label Bands.” Please check out that station for more details regarding Rob Halfords Team Malice vs. Crown of Earth’s Team Pile Driver. Support and Vote for the Indies please!!!!

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

Danny: Please keep an eye on our website and our Facebook page for gigs around the area. We always have a show somewhere and I’m really looking forward to a show with my friends in the legendary, Detroit Heavy Metal Horror Show - Halloween! We’ll be heading there as direct support for them at Harpo’s Concert Theatre on Saturday, October 27th for the best Halloween party ever!

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

Danny: We’ve discussed this very question many times at band rehearsal. I think the answer is that we plan on sitting around for the next 8 years and eat an unbelievable amount of Cheetos and drink Yoohoo’s (which tastes horrible by the way, no offense) and pretty much, watch the years pass us by. Well, ya know... on second thought, if anyone out there is “loaded” and has the urge to see their name on the back cover of our next album, in the credits section as “executive producer”. Please feel free to contact us at: coe.band.info@gmail.com. I’d be glad to make it happen, thank you very much!

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

Danny: As I mentioned above, please visit our official online presence at: www.crownofearth.com or follow our band on Facebook for the latest info regarding the band.

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

Danny: I would love for our music fans to remember that nothing is more important than to go out and support local musicians who perform their music, live. They bust their hump all day long at a regular job just to try and get a few moments of happiness by seeing your face in the crowd. Let’s try and make the band happier, and the crowd bigger these days by going out to see a live band. It’s good for the soul. Thank you!

Sydney symphonic black metal band Tamerlan Empire has signed to Australian promotion, booking and management agency Black-Roos Entertainment. The band has released their first full-length studio album "Age of Ascendency", in February this year and their lyric video "Battle of Tyrants" found HERE.

Pop-rockers Seasonal are set to release sophomore EP "Weathered" via Undead Collective Records on October 12th 2018. Available for pre-order HERE, frontman/bassist Matt Truseler sets the tone: “Our music has definitely evolved over the course of the year – whilst musically we still sound like the same band, we found ourselves enjoying writing higher tempo tracks. The title and artwork, a photo a friend of ours shot at Old Car City in the States, signifies our progression away from being a new project and really maturing our sound, taking it to the next step, as a band.” Now the band are here to give us further insight into the tracks that feature on the record, whetting your appetite for what’s to come...

1 – Strangers: Strangers opens the EP with what will strike as a slightly different sound to what might have been expected from us if you have heard our debut, ‘Bloom’. It is immediately more up tempo, and just a lot of fun to play live.

The track is about never knowing either of my father's parents and how it feels to know so little about what is normally a large part or everyone's lives. It raises thoughts of if we shared any characteristics, and the big question of what they would think of the person I have become if they could see me now.

When making the video we wanted to keep it simple and just document the day to day activities of people from the two generations in question. We were insistent that it had to be a genuine grandfather and grandchild to give it the authenticity we wanted. Luckily our good friend and merch guy and his grandfather were happy to be a part of it. It was nice that through the process of making the video for a track about having no memories of my grandfather, we were able to create a memory between these two.

The song is really important for us as a band in that respect and we’re really excited for people to see this video. It should warm the heart. Watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLsmsZuG3TA.

2 – Honestly: Honestly was the first track we wrote that appears on ‘Weathered’. It was one of those songs that in the writing process just flew together. It was shortly after recording ‘Bloom’ that this was put together (unusually for us) on the computer prior to jamming it together in the practise studio. We instantly fell in love with the bouncy feel the choruses had and the song lyrically so very little changed from the first demo we made.

The track was inspired by a breakup. Not quite the standard cliché though of slating an ex in a song if that’s what you’re thinking. It was done in an honest, up front way and was the best thing for both parties, and yet you still feel like you’re the bad guy.

The video was shot in black and white to signify that some things, decisions or answers are just black or white… yes or no. We were really happy with the result and enjoyed the style of individual performances of the song being combined in the edit to create the video as that was something we had not done yet. Watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ahv29bU0joY.

3 – Drift: Drift is another track we wrote earlier on in the process, and recorded this at the same time as ‘Honestly’ with Oz Craggs. The writing process for this track was quite long and there were points where we were tempted to just leave it as some of the ideas from the track would undoubtedly reincarnate themselves in something we were writing in the future. We didn’t leave it though and after playing it at one of our shows and hearing our friends and fans comments on the new tracks we had showcased, we knew it was one we wanted to put on record.

The track is about being in the situation when you know someone has completely lost interest in you. It's uses the metaphor of a song that has been overplayed and has changed from something you used to love into something you have had enough of.

The track has a much more indie pop feel to the others and I think it really stands out from the other tracks on the EP, showing a bit of our versatility and that we are not just another pop punk band.

4 - High & Dry: We have been around the houses and back with High & Dry. It was actually a bit of a staple song we were playing in our shows at one point, but sounded a lot different. We just really enjoyed the track even in its original form and it was receiving a lot of positive comments at shows. We ended up changing it up and adding this really old school emo outro (think Taking Back Sunday epic moments) because, why not?

This is a song about betrayal. When you trust someone and think that you are both there to help each other; but you instead discover they are only looking out for themselves. It's about losing faith in a friend, being able to forgive but knowing that you won't ever trust or look at them the same way again.

5 – Twelve: Twelve is very personal song. It is about a tough decision that my girlfriend and I had to make 12 years ago. It talks about how tough it was to make such a decision at a young age and how despite knowing it was the right decision for us at the time; it still upsets you and leaves you wondering what if you had made the other choice. It was a hard topic to write about, but I felt it was important to, because it is easy to judge people that make these choices and assume they did so without a second thought, especially if you are the guy. But in reality it is often a really hard thing to cope with and made worse by the fact that people feel ashamed to talk about it because it is still widely seen as a taboo subject.

The writing process for this track musically was really quick and we had all the bits nailed in one practice session and threw it straight on the computer to start putting down some lyrical ideas. Each week we were playing it just musically; still happy with it and getting nearer to recording. I had been working on the lyrics for the track but didn’t really ever give away the content of the song until we were in the studio recording it. I hope people can hear the emotion that came through when recording this track.

Austin-based, pop performer and local sound guru Sydney Wright announces her new single, "Time of Night," and video for  “Seiche." The tracks are the title track off her forthcoming debut album which will drop on November 9. " “Time of Night” captures that feeling of late night quiet and turns it into something effervescent." Wright recently was the victim of a hit and run accident, withstanding several injuries and surgeries over the last month. She is being supported by The  Health Alliance  for  Austin  Musicians  Despite the accident, Wright is pressing on, and excited to release new music throughout the fall.  In addition to being a singer songwriter, Wright is also a live sound engineer who is known for her work in a number of Austin venues. Listen to the track "Time of Night" HERE and check out the video for "Seiche" right HERE.

Jerelle's latest and newest track of a single titled "Somewhere", is your average take on the genre's that are rap, hip, hop and R&B. Except the way Jerelle does these genres, is somewhat original, and makes the material more vivid and rather vibrant. The way of how this track starts out, you think a pop rock song is about to play out, but insted comes this tune that immediately takes you to a night club setting, if not a quiet relaxing party in someone's backyard. It's how "Somewhere", plays itself. It has energy, spunk, and upbeat tones of melodies, that keeps it in check, but even dancable at times as well.

Jerelle's voice is very in-depth, has this infused tone that makes you feel at ease with yourself. His voice and tone of musical approach he creates, is lot like the other modernized rap, hip hop, R&B takers going on currently, ranging from Drake to Nelly. It's just how his vocals work throughout the music being played out here.

As far as the material as a wholesome truths, it is decent, has good energy, upbeat in tones, and can be one that you would likely hear played all over, from online to offline area's of the music spectrum. Not much else to be said about Jerelle other than, he being an up and comer for his time, and with works such as "Somewhere", this is a track that will get him noticed more so, having him blend in with the many others, getting out there as well.
