Electric Revolution Gives Us Details of Music, Shows, and Other Plans at Hand!
Flavored 70's blues heavy rock n' rollers ELECTRIC REVOLUTION have been around for sometime, releasing content, with of course all new content as well. The band got together to discuss these releases, some upcoming plans on shows and other details that just needed to be said.
1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Of course, the band was formed in 2014, through trial and error and personnel differences line up changes held the project at bay making progress difficult, not till 2018 did the most solid line up to date take shape and push the project in the most productive and positive direction.
2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?
Drummer and founding member Billie Pulera wanted a name to definite the sound and the mission, what would be a great name to call a fiery bluesy hard rocking, guitar driven, 70's/ early 80's flavored classic Hard Rock and Roll band? Two words that stuck out and when put together “Electric Revolution” seemed to be the flavor on the tip of the tongue that seemed to make for the perfect recipe.
3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?
We are based out of “Kenosha Wisconsin”sandwiched between Milwaukee/Chicago. There is a great underground Punk Rock scene but mainly made up of corner bar Blues Jams and Cover Bands, we tend to find our place being outside of Kenosha; while in the area concentrating on the two major cities north and south of us. Yes, there are some great bands here like Mixed Company, Resistance, Dayrollers, Rat Fink to name a few.
4. How would you describe your style?
It's a Bowlful of Soulful, Bluesy, Groovy, Hard and Heavy Rock and Roll.
5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?
Our most recent release 1/1/2019 "BURN IT DOWN" is 8 songs of some great New classic Hard Rock, if you dig bands like Deep Purple, Van Halen, Chicken Foot, Montrose, Black Country Communion, Badlands, UFO then you'll dig it!
6. Do you have any new music in the works?
Yes, we are always coming up with new ideas.
7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?
Well we basically play selective shows, opening act slots for major acts coming through the area as well as festival and selective shows outside our area. We are working on plans to do a run out west and down to Texas in 2019, we'll have to see where this album takes us.
8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?
Perform as many great shows as possible, write and record another album, mainly have fun with it all, that's what it's really all about don't you think?
9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
Bandcamp, CD Baby, our Facebook page, YouTube, pretty much all the streaming platforms as well.
10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?
Really how great the songs made them feel,we would hope for the listener to experience a great fiery Hard Rock and Roll ride, to be moved, a sonic experience filled with human emotion, goosebump moments and memorable favorites, if that all happens then that's considered a job well done!
