Planet For Sale Says They Want to Perform and Create More Music!
PLANET FOR SALE takes on the uniqueness of story telling, as well as taking such genres as urban country, musical universe and alternative styling to create something truly unique. They have gone on since to release an album with all new music for an EP coming up as well. Due to the current time of the crisis though, the band hopes to play shows really soon, with of course always writing more and new music! See what else the band had to say about all of this below.
1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
We’ve been musicians all our lives and we started right from the bottom. All of us came from individual backgrounds but me and Jim, we met at Northbrook college. We Went through several bass players until we found Louis on Bass and Jamie was a childhood friend of Jim who’s now on the drums. Me and Jim have been writing music together for years but we have been planning for sale as a whole for two.
2. What is the origin of the bands name?
I wanted to create a universe where everything is a contrast to the real world, I wanted the image to be as harsh as reality yet have a fictional tone and inspired by all the genres I grew up with which were mainly blues and classic rock. So when it came to naming the band, it was suitable to look at it as a planet but with everything including tomorrow’s had a danger of fading away. That’s where PLANET FOR SALE comes from. A questionable world at an auction.
3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?
We are based in the south and right now we’re in Sussex. We get very strange and surprised reactions from the crowd because the music it’s something that they don’t expect. I think when they see us to expect us to give them something that is similar to Britpop or something hip and contemporary but instead they get ambiance, fusion and storytelling with a sense of hard rock. It’s hard for us to relate to the other acts but we could recommend some individuals out there who are working hard like Fade and The Dirty Weekend.
4. How would you describe your style?
PLANET FOR SALE is a musical universe. We write songs like stories and we put them out one by one to create a connection. When people hear the verses , then they wanna sing the choruses And that is an anthemic journey that we give to our listeners at shows. When you listen closely you hear minimized blues mixed with anthem style rock writing. There’s also a little bit of country too. We could never say that it is one particular genre but it is a new one. we just don’t have a name for it yet.
5. What have you really so far and what can someone expect from your works?
So far we have released one album titled ‘Earth’ which was praised by our fans in the UK, Sweden and Iran. These are the places that we are currently performing and we have a nice cult following which we love seeing grow over time. People always expect a message embedded in our lyrics. A sign that points out the Silver Lining between good and bad, The difference between loneliness and fulfilling your dreams, the distance between love and hate. Next to that you can always expect groovy and creative guitar solos, harmonized backing vocals and strong bass.
6. Do you have any new music in the works?
Oh yeah! We’ve got an EP coming up which is our current crown jewel featuring four new songs written by Rooz and Jim, all mixed produced by the Animal Farm Music. The first single from the EP is called ‘Old Father Time’ and it will be released this Friday, June 19th.
7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?
We die if we don’t perform so that is always the number one priority. Due to the Covid crisis we had to reschedule a lot of shows and just stick to online madness game of survival but as soon as this craziness is over we will be heading to London and covering most of Sussex And Hampshire. We’ve also got The Great Escape as well so when that’s back will be doing that too.
8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?
There are a lot of attitude base led acts out there with a lot of style and flair and we want to be part of that, but we also want to bring our own dish to the table. We want to keep singing and carry on the conversation about what’s real and what is happening to this world and its beautiful environment and its vulnerable people. We want to be the biggest rock voice out there , and for that we are dreaming as big as the planet we are writing about.
9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
You can go to our main website which is www.planetforsalemusic.com. From there you can get all the action and all the access you so desire. Oh and don’t forget to subscribe for the extra fun. ;)
10. What is it you would like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?
We want to see you cry and we want to see you laugh with us. We all have one home and inside this home we all have the same problems, just different scenarios. We want to remember the stories we tell you, the heartbeat rhythms we play and the confessions we sing because they are your stories, your heartbeats, your feelings and confessions. PLANET FOR SALE is All of us.
D. I. G. Discusses Coming Together With All New Music!
Mixer uppers D.I.G. use a combination tactic of hard rock, metal, grove as a power trio band, whose time together has come together rather nicely. Since forming they have released a debut album, an EP, and new single, with even newer music coming real soon. Find out what else was discussed from the band below.
1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
D.I.G started back in 2013 at a birthday party for singer and guitar player Björn. But instead of just talkin we actually went all the way with the band idea! The first album was written pretty quick and recorded by the band itself. After some touring around Sweden we decided to record an EP in 2019. After that we went separate ways with our drummer Elias Båld. Since this is a hobby (right now) life came in the way. But in 2019 Jonathan Lindström joined the band. Jonathan is a steady "born Ac/Dc" rock drummer. We Wrote and recorded our first music together and released the single "in the blink of an eye" during 2020. The band now consists of Björn Holmström-Guitar and vocals. Fredrik Bergqvist -Bas and vocals, Jonathan Lindström- Drums.
2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?
The band name D.I.G came up during a Christmas beer fest. It was a joke for something that's is popular during Christmas in Sweden "dopp i grytan" in english that would be "dipp in the pot". Then we added the dots and the name was born.
3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?
D.I.G is based in Karlstad/Bengtsfors. Out in the Swedish wilderness. the place is so metal that the postal code starts with 666! The music scene in Bengtsfors is none existing. There are some bands but no live scene. Karlstad is a bit better. But its a hard market for rock music right now. There are some local bands that we would like to recommend! "Röda Hund" with our former drummer Elias. and Sole Syndicate.
4. How would you describe your style?
This questions is actually quite hard! how do we define our style and sound?
We heard a lot of things during the years, that we for example sound like Alice in chains. I´m the main songwriter (Björn) and I listen to so much different music. I feel D.I.G is still evolving! There is a bit more classic rock element to the new songs but also some really heavy stuff! My dream is to get some progressive stuff into the mix as well! But I like that we kind of float around in the rock landscape. But the short answer is that our style is a mix of classic and modern rock.
5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?
We released the debut album in 2015, EP in 2019 and new single in 2020. As things been evolving i find it quite hard to listen to the first album. It got some good songs that we still play but also some songs that makes me cringe haha. The latest EP was really fun. It was the last music recorded with drummer Elias Båld and has a more classic rock feel to it. The latest single "in the blink of an eye" is a modern rock groove track that I (Björn) really like! The upcoming music from D.I.G will be kick ass! we have so much fun material in the works! some super cool riffs, melodic and great! cant wait to start recording new material.
6. Do you have any new music in the works?
Yes we do! We have about 4 songs recorded right now that will be on a new album! hopefully this new album can be released in late 2020 our early 2021!
7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?
We hope so! we love to get together and play live! We try to have a live show that's not just "play the songs like on the album", we try to incorporate some fun stuff for our audience as well! as soon as the new music is out we will try to go out and tour some.
8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?
NEW MUSIC! that's the most important for us right now. write and record new music! We would also like to grow our fan base and get more followers on social media. It´s so rewarding to share and interact with fans from all over the place. :)
9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
We are on Spotify and all streaming services as well as YouTube (www.youtube.com/c/digtheband)! if fans would like to contact us we are on Facebook (www.facebook.com/digband) .
We don't have so much to sell, maybe broken drumsticks from Jonathan" flismaskinen" Lindström. We do have T-shirts that are pretty cool! send a mail to digthebandsweden@gmail.com for that. :)
10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?
The "joy of music". We as a band have so much fun playing together and we hope the listener can feel that! We also hope that the first listen to D.I.G makes them want to hear more music!

Silent Saga Says Say Tuned for New Music with Lots More In-Store!
Modern melodic metalheads SILENT SAGA have a debut album "RISE!" along with an EP "FIRE". More material is underway of course, with them continuing to create music, not knowing what to expect next! Find out what else was said from the band below.
1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
We are Silent Saga based in Hamburg. We go all the way back to 2002, when we started working in Brazil under the name of Amazon. After we relocated to Hamburg, Daniel and Carsten joined the band in 2017. They had been playing in the local scene for decades and were the perfect fit to the band's music and style. We are now working on our second full length album under the current brand, and the 4th since we started in 2002. Back in Brazil, we had the chance to play with some of the greatest metal names in the country, like Shaman and Dr. Sin, and also as a support act for some of the world's biggest FFM bands, like Nightwish and Epica.
2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?
When rebranding - the name "Amazon" was kinda "taken" in Europe :P - we came up with several different and very good options, but we thought that Silent Saga relates so well to one's life, especially in current times where social media strangles real life in ways that humankind never experienced before, and everyone has to deal with their own loneliness when they look away from their screens. We think this applies to musicians even further, as no one else knows how much blood and sweat there is behind an artist's work. It's beautiful and amazing when done, but every artist, when not performing, lives their very own Silent Saga to create the work before putting it out there to the world.
3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?
We are in Hamburg right now. The city has a very lively yet very competitive music scene. There are world class musicians around here and tons of bands of every genre. Two bands from our region we think should be highlighted are Aeternitas and Black Hawk.
4. How would you describe your style?
I think every band has a hard time describing their own style. We have symphonic metal elements, some thrash metal riffs, a lot of NWOBHM and hard rock influences. At the end of the day we go under the Female Fronted Metal umbrella, which seems to be getting some politically correct heat lately, but it still describes the band quite well I think.
5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?
We have released our first full length "RISE!" in 2018, which was produced by Sander Gommans, Amanda Somerville and Ivo van Dijk, and an EP called "Fire" with 3 songs from our upcoming album.
6. Do you have any new music in the works?
Yes! We intend to release new songs soon! There will be some releases before the full album, so stay tuned!
7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?
Well... corona.
8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?
We will keep making music for sure. We don't know what expects metal bands and clubs in the future. Things are changing. We hope to be able to tour next year, but there's a lot of things to be solved before that.
9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
Everywhere! We are on YouTube, Spotify, Amazon, Google Play, Apple Store... you name it! But of course, if you want to buy directly from us, we'd be very very very thankful, so check out our website silentsaga.com and get our music and our merch on the webstore. Also, don't forget to subscribe to the newsletter to get a free download of one of our songs and tons of other cool stuff.
10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?
That there are many perspectives on life and the things each of us go through daily, and it's probably better to question everyone else's than believing them no matter how appealing they sound. No one else will be there when you lay your head on your pillow, and you'll have to live with the choices you make. Our music is not about guiding the listeners to a specific view on this or that subject, it's about remembering them that it's ok to change your mind, start fresh, disagree, have principles and values of your own, be the best you can be for yourself and for the ones you love. Ultimately we are all about the inner revolution.
WHAM BAM! TALKS OF SINGLE AND FOCUSING ON THE FUTURE!
Collaboration of a uniqueness is what WHAM BAM! is truly all about! They have created this unfiltered rock and groove tactic with such a catchy dual vocal harmony that it works so well it's unstoppable. That said the band has gone on to release their debut single, and are working on their next single along with a debut EP as well! The band goes some more to talk about their current single and what plans are focused upon next.
1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Wham Bam! is a duo consisting of Gideon Kretschmer (vocals, all the instruments) and Nico Tourelle (vocals) - Nico lives on a farm in the quiet Karoo in South Africa, and Gideon Kretschmer lives in the bustling city of Frankfurt, Germany. They've been making music together since 1996, when they started their first band SUNFISH, back in the hey-days of the South African rock music scene.
Over the years they've continued their creative connection - sharing ideas, writing and performing together (Nico wrote and performed on "It’s on fire" - from WonderWolf's debut album "The Long Winter")
Wham Bam! formed in 2019 when Nico shared a song idea via Whatsapp - Gideon loved the hook and quickly recorded a demo idea - a couple of rounds of remote collaboration later and their debut single "On Your Own" was born. Lyrics were written by fellow creative partner Ramon Rabie (an author and wordsmith extraordinaire living in Thailand) - this breathed new life and meaning into the track.
2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?
Wham Bam! is meant to represent what our music is all about - focusing on keeping it simple, punchy and catchy, with the main melody/hook at the centre of their songs. It means no-frills fun and groove that infect your ear holes and leaves you wanting more.
3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?
Our setup is quite unique – we live in different parts of the world and collaborate remotely. We’re part of new upstart German label HopePunk Records (https://hopepunkrecords.com) and as part of this creative collective we work with musicians across the globe, but also have plans to join forces in Germany and South Africa within the next year for some shows.
4. How would you describe your style?
Unfiltered rock and groove with catchy dual vocal harmonies. if you grew up in the grunge era and also dig old - school rock & roll, this is your jam
5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?
We’ve just released our debut single “On Your Own” – a catchy rock & roll/grungy track, released with a fun lyric video – check out https://hopepunkrecords.com/wham-bam for all the info and links
6. Do you have any new music in the works?
Yes, we’re in studio putting the final touches on our second single “Fool’s Gold” - a catchy pop/rock anthem with massive crowd-pleasing potential - this will lead up to the release of their debut EP later in 2020.
7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?
Nothing set in stone thus far, but plans for South African and European dates are in the pipeline.
8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?
Our immediate focus is to finish work on our debut EP, and to work with our label to spread our tunes and grow an organic following of like-minded music lovers.
9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
Our debut single is available on all the platforms – also for purchase on our label’s store – links below:

Run To Vega Says Quite a Bit About Themselves and Music!
Alternative rockers RUN TO VEGA have a self-titled EP out and about, with another EP expected this summer! After this, they will head out to do shows when the time is right! Find out just what more had to be said from the band right below.
1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
The band formed in March 2016. Kev and Sye had been working on ideas for a few years previous and decided to officially form a band after meeting some like minded friends which were a good fit. Since then we have changed line up a couple of times and our members are now Kev Coronel- Guitar/ Vocals, Sye Christian- Lead guitar/ Backing vocals, Ruari McGrath- Bass Guitar, and Isaac Barnes- Drums/ Backing vocals. Our sound has evolved a lot over the years. We’ve been focussing on refining more recently and developing more dynamics.
2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?
The name has various meanings behind it, some of which are in reference to the star Vega and also an old Chinese folk tale.
3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?
We’re based in Aberdeen, Scotland and the music scene here is very active and also very eclectic which is great. We like many of the local bands but one that sticks out in our mind is Dude Trips and also Towards Light, which is our drummer Isaac’s band.
4. How would you describe your style?
Our style has been varied but is rooted in alternative indie rock. Some of the bands we’ve been compared to at times are The Pixies, The Cure, Black Midi, Kings of Leon… All of which are bands we really like.
5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?
We released our first EP - Run To Vega last year. It’s vibe was very energetic and passionate. Some surf rock elements and soulful melodies mixed with indie rock. Since then we have released 2 singles. Riding Hood which was a darker take on the folk tale. And Limousine, a feel good indie tune we released last summer.
6. Do you have any new music in the works?
Our next 3 track EP Twilight Tides will be hitting stores the 1st of July. It’s a moody and heavier tone than most of our previous works. With plenty of distortion and energy for fans to dig into. The music video will be a fun and quirky accompaniment to the music using a mix of action figure animation and acting to portray the song in a lighthearted way. A thread of nostalgia runs throughout the song with the use of action figures and household items reflecting many of the lyrics.
7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?
Currently we’re focused on the releases and online presence due to the lockdown but we’re booked to headline this year's Fudge Awards. The event takes place at one of the main venues in Aberdeen, Krakatoa. A very supportive place that has hosted many local and global bands over the years.
8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?
We’d love to get back out playing gigs once possible and we’ll be working on more releases. We’ve got no lack of ideas and a big repertoire that we’ll be continuing to develop and record going forward. We also like to put a lot of effort into our music videos so our fans will have lots of content to look out for and consume alongside our releases.
9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
We’re available on most of the usual platforms: Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play Music, Amazon Music, YouTube, Soundcloud, etc. We also have some limited runs of our first EP left which are currently only available to buy directly from us. We may try to get some of these out to the fans by running a competition on Facebook.
10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?
The songs have strong and catchy melodies that we hope will be enjoyable from the first listen. If you
delve a bit deeper, you'll find some real emotions being dealt with. The songs tell definite stories but ones that are pretty cryptic at times. And that can be great for people to identify with in whatever form that really speaks most to them or listen to them in the context of whatever is going on in their own lives. They’re also pretty fun to just enjoy and go on a journey with. Our sound is constantly developing but we love everything we’ve released and hopefully people can enjoy the music and get something out of it too.
Ali In The Jungle Expresses Discussion of EP, Gigs and More!
Indie alternative rockers ALI IN THE JUNGLE have released their debut EP "Anyway", along with a lyrical video for one of the tracks as well! They are currently hard at work, upon new music for other projects and what not, including playing some live gigs real soon. See what else the band had to express within the discussion below.
1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
We’ve all known each other since we were about 10 years old. Sam and Tim had bass lessons together, and Chris and Ali played a lot of the Nintendo Wii together when that craze grabbed the world by the nunchucks. Tim and Sam were in a band together but Tim was kicked out for being below par, which kickstarted Tim’s obsession with songwriting and starting a new band. Once Sam had heard the sheer improvement in the quality of Tim’s ideas, he did the sensible thing and packed up his bags for a brave new world. It wasn’t soon after that Ali and Chris - mates from a youth club - joined the mission to write music that was insanely fun to play, and a challenge to remember all the parts for. Now in 2020, we’ve recorded our debut EP ‘Anyway’, have released our first music video for ‘Drunk Generation’, and now we have 2 more video releases in the pipeline. We’ve also played all over London at venues such as O2 Academy Islington, and The Garage.
There’s a buzz growing around us now which is super awesome as we have such kind and dedicated fans, and it’s just a cool time to be part of Ali In The Jungle. Ali bangs the drums and treats the band as a sport, Sam treats it as a sweet mistress with his smooth bass-lines and acoustic caresses, Tim treats it the best laugh there is, and Chris treats it how anyone should expect to be treated.
2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?
Ali In The Jungle is named after our drummer ‘Ali’, who being the oldest and coolest of the four of us, we felt needed to be put at the forefront. We love it when bands make their drummer a real part of the show! He’s also possibly the best looking so there’s that too… In addition, Sam and Tim used to play a lot of FIFA 2008 together as kids, and there was a song on it by The Hours called ‘Ali In The Jungle’. It was a nice bit of piano rock about not giving up against the odds, so as impressionable 14 year-olds we thought it was a nice mantra to take on.
3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you would recommend?
We’re based in Milton Keynes, the famed place of concrete cows and roundabouts. Honestly I get weirded out by the lack of roundabouts in other parts of the UK… There’s a great music scene around here! Venues such as MK11 (which has a great new stage!), The Craufurd Arms (who have hosted acts such as The Wombats), as well as Bedford Esquires, have been great to us over the years; we warmed up for popular ‘drunk folk’ artist Beans On Toast at MK11 just a few days prior to lockdown, and released our EP there too.
There’s so many brilliant local artists about and many of them like to coalesce at one of the best open mic nights in the whole world ‘The Sunset Lounge’ in Newport Pagnell. Artists like Little White Lights, Francis, Forest of Fools, and Gauss Gun, to name a few… We’re also getting really excited about a new band coming through called Next To Nada who’ve been releasing demos on Soundcloud.
4. How would you describe your style?
It’s indie/alternative, but more specifically we mix post-punk revival guitar rock (i.e. Franz Ferdinand, The Arctic Monkeys, Interpol) with ‘piano rock’ styles used in bands such as Keane, Radiohead, and Queen. We’re therefore able to have quite an emotional and sonic range, as we can access a rough garage rock sound, as well as a soft rock sound. We love to put our spin on loads of different genres and we have a deep pool of influences we like to swim in. We write acoustic ballads, progressive rock songs, music hall, hard rock - but it always sounds like us because the same principle of banterous lyrical word play, in order to put across serious points, is always there.
5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?
We released our debut EP ‘Anyway’ back in February, as well as a lyric video for ‘Drunk Generation’ in May which has been described as a ‘drunken Subterranean Homesick Blues’. A listener can expect overwhelmingly playful music, juxtaposed with lyrics which although full of jokes and puns, tend to speak about disappointment, exclusion, and social hypocrisies. Expect bass-lines galore too; manic lead guitar work; lots of drum fills and tempo shifts; jazzy/bluesy piano; expressive instrumentals.
6. Do you have any new music in the works?
We’re currently writing music for a short film called Making Waves which is to be shown on BBC iPlayer! So that’s super exciting and a new challenge for us, using our rock instruments (as well as orchestral ones) to tell a story already written out in a script. The film focuses around a synchronised swimming group, so of course, capturing in music how it feels to be underwater for example has led to us experimenting with guitar sounds more than we would tend to, resulting in a wetter, and more progressive guitar sound (by our standards at least).
Otherwise we’ve got an extensive back catalog, and at least 20 songs we’re dying to record. We want to make a new EP soon - we’d make an album but we can’t afford it yet!
We’ve also written a lot in lock down. A country song based on Reese Witherspoon’s character in the film Mud called ‘Juniper’; a funky, dance but Johnny Cash-esque song about a jealous murder called ‘Fuel on the Fire’; an Elvis meets Beirut haunting big bombastic ballad ‘Seance For Las Vegas’…
7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?
We had a mini EP tour put together, mainly focusing on London, but we also had some awesome festivals booked. We’d played two shows, one in Camden at The Good Mixer supporting Couples, and one at MK11 supporting Beans On Toast, but because of COVID 19, like most bands we’ve had to reschedule everything, but there’s not a 100% guarantee as to when things will actually go ahead. Instead, we’ve used our time in lock down to play our part in the #saveourvenues campaign, doing online gigs in aid of venues around the UK such as The Nightrain (Bradford), Blackmarket VIP (Hastings), and The Macbeth of Hoxton (London).
We’re looking forward to all our gigs and festivals once they go ahead, and who knows, maybe next year if we’ve got a new EP out, we’ll be in a position to play at even more!
8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?
To keep playing great gigs, to play lots of festivals, and support awesome artists; for music to be our lives. To record more and more songs that people can relate to and that hopefully makes their lives better and more fun. We’ve also got a growing fanbase now in places like Brazil, so to be able to see the world and perform in all sorts of cool places like Rio De Janeiro would be incredible. We’d take a UK tour too! As you can tell, we’ve got big plans…
In the very near future we’ll be releasing our music video for ‘I Don’t Even Know You’, which explores themes of isolation (even though it was shot before lockdown). We’ve also got a video for ‘People Change’ on the way, which we can promise, is really really wacky.
9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
We’re on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Soundcloud - all the main streaming platforms, but if you want to give us extra support, you can buy our music from Bandcamp or iTunes. If people want to hear songs that we haven’t officially released yet, then head over to our Youtube - ‘Ali In The Jungle Music’. We have loads of live videos up there and are releasing some acoustic sets in a new Youtube series called ‘Acoustic In The Jungle’.
10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?
Maybe the fun lyrics and puns which might make them think about something differently… Or if they connect with it, then to remember how that felt, because it’s a great feeling when you first get into a new song and it soundtracks your entire day, and then when you’re older you associate that song with a certain time in your life, or a certain feeling. It’d be amazing for our music to do that for someone.

Liam Naughton Gives gGreat Detail on the Past and the Present!
Rock, alternative singer/songwriter LIAM NAUGHTON has a couple of releases tucked under his belt, with his latest being an EP release. Liam himselg goes into great detail about his past, present and future.
1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Now there’s a question, history is a long time. My get off my arse moment was when Danny Murphy hit the play button on Harvest Moon in the background at work. When it finished I asked “Can you play that again?”. I thought it was brilliant, the way Neil Young put down his lyrics. After years of bull shitting myself I bought a guitar and practiced 4 hours a night, 6 hours on weekends for 6 months straight. I started writing soon after I moved from Ireland to Perth Australia in 2004. I was very disciplined about it too, choosing to stay in and focus on that rather than going out on the sauce or lazing it in the couch talking shit with a bunch of mates. I had to be disciplined too cause I really liked the other options as well. It was a pretty prolific writing time for me. I really loved working the words and packing things up neat and tidy. I was very critical of myself but I knew when it was a finished piece. I took my songs to open mic nights and bit by bit got more comfortable with playing live. It’s tricky to sing into a mic when you’re trying to find the fret board. I’d love to have had some vids of those early performances cause I was really shit but really determined. It took me until 2006 before I got the balls to go to a studio. I went to Jerry Freedmans studio, ‘Jericho Music’ in Perth after seeing an advertisement ‘ARE YOU READY FOR LONDON’. I thought, course I’m not, but that sounds like the place. When I got there I was so nervous sitting down in the quietness of his
studio with my guitar and playing a track one on one. I thought I was in confession.
I worked with Jerry on a song called Badman, left 2 days later with my first finished song, dead proud. I went back to Jericho in 2007 and recorded about 17 further demos. I’m on a roll here. Then all of a sudden, for various reasons life took over, I got side tracked and things ground to a halt only to resurface again in 2011. It wouldn’t be the last time my ship would hit the rocks either.
In 2011 once again, my third visit to Jericho Music we began work on my first EP Cornerstone. Put it out 2012, did CD’s and everything, supported it with live shows and all that but it kinda went nowhere. Bummed!!! To be honest, I didn’t market it very well. I was always a bit shit at that but I put it down to Catholic guilt. One of the deadly sins Pride is ya know. I must not….True. My ship ran aground juts off the coast of nowhere once again. What’s the point, just go home son.
Couldn’t let it go. Roll on 2016 The Nannup Music Festival came calling. 6 months to get ready for it I called up Lauren Reece who played drums on the Cornerstone live shows. We went to the rehearsal
studio, just us two, for 4 months and rehearsed the songs she knew plus a bunch of other ones I’d written. See, even though I wasn’t active on the Perth music scene, all the while I was still writing at
home. Those rehearsals would set the tone for my Leaning In LP. James Vinciullo would join us on bass guitar and after Nannup we went to Fremantle Recording Studio to record Leaning In as a 3 piece rhythm section. I wasn’t overly keen on forking out big $$ and wanted to keep it a bit low key but curiosity killed the cat. The engineer Brian Mitra loved the songs and encouraged me to get a lead guitarist to top it. Elephant Isle were recording their EP as well and their guitarist Cameron Hayes came on board with us. Ship went off course again a bit but a trip to The Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam and reading how he never gave up despite how crap his life was inspired me to finish the
record. Leaning In eventually came out in 2018. I got very favorable reviews but I hadn’t done it the right way. I’d only uploaded it to on-line stores and played around Perth with the band, everyone liked it but it couldn’t get out of the starting blocks. What does a man have to do. Cameron took off to London to have a crack. I was disappointed by that but really admired him for it.
Fuk, if he can do it so can I… enter The Animal Farm. I took a years leave off work, went to London and re recorded 4 tracks from Leaning In with The Animal Farm. George Addison Atkinson who was playing drums with Cameron in Georgia Reeds line up came on board. Matt Leppanen of The Animal Farm played bass and produced what was to become my Cut On A Cut EP. I battled it a bit but we got there in the end. Unfortunately covid-19 hit the shelves before I did, the music scene died in London, is still dead and it’s looking like that for the rest of 2020 so I grabbed my parachute, bailed, and now I’m at home in Perth eating a cheese burger.
2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?
When I do something I always like it have relevance and not just drag something randomly out of the sky. That’ll do, no it won’t do, there’s got to be a meaning to it. All of the other musicians in the group are music teachers, hence The Educators. My late dad was also a teacher so I thought it was a good fit.
3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?
Up until I went to London to we were based out of Perth in sunny Western Australia. The local original music is pretty small here but it full of a real bunch of great, very talented people who try really hard to expand it. No shit, a lot of great musicians here. Current big international bands from Perth are Empire of the Sun, Tame Impala, John butler, and big Aussie bands like Birds of Tokyo, Eskimo Joe, Karnivool, Methyl Ethyl. The grass roots local scene isn’t very well supported here by the punters. You really have to tease them out to shows but there’s a well of talent here, you can be sure of that and I plan to unearth it!! Acts Like Turin Robinson, The Caballeros, The Shakeys, Atlas Chasers etc
4. How would you describe your style?
When I was learning the guitar I didn’t learn any particular style like blues, rock ect so by not doing that it didn’t force me down any particular path. When I’m writing I don’t set out to write a certain
type of song, I wait until I find something musically that interests me and is far enough removed from anything I’ve heard before. If it sounds too close to not being original I’m inclined to drop it and
move on. But from my releases, in general you can hear that what comes out is along the lines to 90’s guitar rock
5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?
Ya know, I thought a release was uploading to the on-line stores and then telling all your Facebook friends about it. I can be a real twat sometimes but then again someone a long the way could have told me different. Cut On A Cut is the first record that I have released thru the proper channels. My independent Cornerstone EP and Leaning In LP are also available on on-line stores. You can expect to hear earnest song writing without feeling short changed.
6. Do you have any new music in the works?
Cut on A Cup EP had just been released 19th June 2020. I do have a new album ready to go. It’s well beyond the advanced stage of song writing. I’ll just let what’s gone before soak in a bit longer and see
what the response is before I take it to the next stage.
7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?
I had taken a year off my day job to move to the bright lights of London, hook up with Cameron and launch an assault on the Irish and UK music scene. I mean, what better place to test your wares against all of the up and coming acts in one of the main centres for music. I wasn’t fazed either, I felt that I had some good horses in my stable and was ready to bang some doors down. I’d a bunch of shows lined up so what could possibly go wrong???? Holy Fuck, for once I didn’t derail my own train, Covid-19 did it for me.
8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?
The plan is to spend some time marketing Cut On A Cut, hit the bricks and take it to the stage. Then start work on record number 4.
9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
Cornerstone, Leaning In and Cut On A Cut are available on all online stores. My YouTube channel ‘Liamnaughtontube’ (didn’t mean it to sound phallic) has band and acoustic live performances.
10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?
Whether you like it or not, you can hear that a lot or work and ideas have gone into the song writing and music. I want people to feel like they haven’t been hoodwinked or short changed in any way. I want people to feel that their time was well spent!

We're All Aliens Talks of Music, Both Old and New and Spreading it Round and Round!
Hard rockers WE'RE ALL ALIENS have a single and even an album out and about, with all new music already written! For now though, they want to reach as many people as possible with their music. With that, the band goes into talks about themselves, the music, and what is lined up next for them.
1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Myself (JJ vocals) and Biff the guitar player have known each other for a long time and were in a britrock band a while back that gigged, got close but never quite hit the mark. We played on some interesting bills with bands like ‘Sleater Kinney’ and had some tracks produced by former Coldplay co-producer and Grammy award winner Ken Nelson. More recently, we started writing together again on the premise of being in the band we wanted to be in when we 15 years old and the mood and style of the first album came from that. When we came to record the tracks, we recruited the final members of the band in ‘The Big A’ - Adi Billinge, a multi-instrumentalist and engineer mate of mine on drums and Laurent Baruqc on bass because we knew he’d fit the style and we knew the chemistry would be right with this line up. I fundamentally believe that a band needs to exist and really connect with each other as people like any relationship. These guys all come from the same place emotionally and it’s why it works so well.
2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?
There is a hidden meaning behind the band’s name which is relevant to myself and Biff, but ultimately I like the idea that we’re all alien to each other trying to find a connection to each other. We’re a rock band but our influences come from a wide range of styles and genres and hope that the music connects with the Alien in all of us.
3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?
The band is based in Merseyside, England someway between Liverpool and Manchester so in many ways we’re a bit of a mongrel hybrid band that isn’t connected to one city in particular. We recorded the first album and rehearse at Neon Palms Studio in Northwich which is where The Charlatans originate from and where Adi lives. the music scene in Northwich is extremely vibrant and it would be hard to pick out one band in particular, partly due to my own eclectic tastes which continually genre hop. Myself and Biff come from a part of the world just over the River Mersey where the most famous musical sons are Elvis Costello, OMD and The Coral. I always like to think that if Liverpool is New York, then where we come from is New Jersey so I like the Bon Jovi / Springsteen imagery that it conjures.
4. How would you describe your style?
The "Get A Life" album is a big sounding rock’n’roll record that captures many of the band’s influences. We’ve been described as sounding like ‘Black Stone Cherry,’ ‘Queensryche,’ ‘Soundgarden’ and ‘U2.’ Which is pretty broad when you think about it. Again we were aiming for the sound of those records we loved as kids. The Cult, Queen, The Who, Rage Against The Machine. Prince. Its all in there somewhere.
5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?
So we rush released the first single “I Am An Alien’ in Jan 2019 when I discovered I had a cancer that might have stop my ability to sing. From then we recorded the Get A Life album between treatment and recovery. The title track and first single came in November and the album followed in Feb 2020. From there we plucked two further singles, Rosa Lee which did exceptionally well and a radio edit of Second Chances which is out now.
6. Do you have any new music in the works?
The second album which is essentially a sequel to "Get A Life" has already been written and we’re currently recording the drum tracks. I’d hope for the first single off that to be out in the late summer, early autumn. From then, I think we’ll drop the songs individually then the album after that.
7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?
Other than a slot at the Manchester ‘You Are Not Alone Festival’ in November all our live plans have been curtailed by the pandemic but I think we will just have to build awareness for the band and react to opportunities once the industry has made sense of the new normal. We’d done a couple of really well received gigs prior to lock down.
8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?
We want to reach as many people as possible with the music. I think we’re heavy in places but melodic and accessible. I think the second album we want more shuffle and groove. I think it’s possible to be funky and rock’n’ roll so I’d hope to see a bit of that.
9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
We held off launching the march side of the band as it the campaign launch coincided with the beginning of lock down so currently the website is still be developed and the shop will be open once we’re confident that we’re not overwhelming key worker delivery people with non essential stuff. That said, we want We’re All Aliens to be essential to you so it’s a conundrum. That said it’s fully available digitally and you’ll find us on socials @allaliensmusic - in fact I can’t stress enough the importance of following the band across all our platforms. It supports the conversation and the algorithm which in turn boosts awareness.
10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?
That riffs, grooves and thoughtful writing are alive and well in rock’n’roll!

Unicorns Killed My Girlfriend's Jon Jumper Discusses the Past and Present of UKMG!
Evolution is what best describes UKMG A.K.A. UNICORNS KILLED MY GIRLFRIEND, a band whose projection is currently run under Jon Jumper, with quite the history behind the band's past and present. Jon Jumper himself, vocalist and producer goes into plenty of discussion details about the band's history, current plans, and what the future holds.
1. So tell me about Unicorns Killed My Girlfriend, how did the formation of the band take place? Is this line-up of the band, the same as it was when the band first formed or has it seen changes for the better or perhaps worse?
UKMG Was created by me and my 2 imaginary friends whilst I was serving time in for stabbing a kid in the neck with a pen. When I received my first hand written letter I was automatically grounded back into reality. My friends were gone and I was left with nothing but the desire to make music.
Me and my cell mate convinced the younger inmates to riot and misbehave until the administrators let us have karaoke night once a month instead of gym class for the day. My buddy got cold feet when I told him we should do hardcore scream vocals over pop songs.. 2 Females who overheard my planning quickly joined me in screaming over Lady GaGa tracks. GaGa's music just felt right doing metal vocals to. After 3 sessions over the course of 4 months were forced to return to our regular schedule and the younger inmates started raging on the guards harder than ever. I remember seeing 3 buff guards slamming this little kid with blonde hair into the ground and not being able to restrain him until they shot his ass up with suspicious fluid. Shit like that really motivated me to work on more practical and emotional reasons to convince my parents to fight for my release.. That's when things got even weirder. I started connecting with people on the phone claiming to be celebrities, contractors, and even mob members. Mostly sympathetic but disturbed as to who I was, and who let them call their phones.
Eventually I was pulled into the master office where I was informed that I was being released early long as I signed a contract agreeing to relapse within the next 3 years. The whole discharge process is sort of a blur but I was glad to be back with my family despite not being able to relate to any of their lives anymore. This drove me to drop out of school and pursue singing, rapping, and producing.
I studied and started implementing gorilla marketing techniques in order to push my music on social media. I went as far as to fake suicide on Facebook live over 4 years before Facebook live was invented. My reputation as a rogue Enterprise developed and I recruited 2 vocalists to assist in the creation of a full album.
Deaths and mental breakdowns drove all the past members to the brink of insanity. The project currently consists of Zim and Roxie.
2. Does the band's name "Unicorns Killed My Girlfriend", reference an actual girlfriend past or present? Or does it perfectly describe your music and philosophy?
UKMG was always an idea I had.The dynamic is a force of nature.
3. So the band went on to release a debut EP "Rawr XD" as well as a single titled "Problem", please discuss the two for us.
RAWR XD EP never existed. I created cover art for a batch of unreleased songs in my vault but I chose to not release them so the project could maintain respectability towards a larger audience as my numbers went up.
4. The band would begin writing for their debut full-length album, but nothing went further from the writing process, whereabouts are you in that area of progress?
I wrote the S.T.F.U album alone. To my disappointment my band members did drugs and indulged in internet drama while I produced beats, recorded vocals, and engineered. However, the bullshit around me worked with the sauce of my gorilla marketing tactics so we made it work.
5. Who would you say are the band's musical and non-musical influences?
Fucking bitches and getting money. I realized most of my childhood sub genre music influences were really big time rappers doing a good job controlling the music scene. Before getting into metal and scream rap I just listened to a shit ton of Lil Wayne as well as various collaborators who I vibed with.
6. How about the lyrics, which theme's or topics do they tend to cover?
Fucking bitches, getting money, flexing, and sometimes motivational experiences so our audience could still grow and learn while waling out.
7. Has the band released official band merch? If so, where can we buy it?
Shout out to our distribution company.
http://www.UKMG.bigcartel.com
8. When shall fans expect something new from you? Video, single, documentary etc.
When my producers stop getting killed.
9. In your opinion what is the best way to define Unicorns Killed My Girlfriends sound and style?
Our sound is currently evolving.
10. What is your personal strategy for making your music heard by a larger audience?
Grind.
11. So, why did the band go on hiatus, and why the decision to bring the band back together?
Everybody around me either lost their mind or killed themselves. I wasn't able to physically kill myself so I started rapping and experimenting with the way life and respect works while in Memphis.
12. What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
Go hard and never stop.
13. Thanks a lot for the interview. Speak out to your fans, supporters, critics and our readers before we wrap up!
Do some wild shit. If you're real you will survive.

Versify Says Loads on Music, Including a Single and Writing New Workings As Well!
Bringing themselves to the music is how VERSIFY decided to be upon formation. Thus forth, they would go on to release a single and as always write more songs, including right now! See what the various band members had to say about the process of their music since forming.
1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
We formed in the summer of 2019, after Michael, Francis and I had previously attempted to start a musical project during our time at university. Pre-2019, we had worked together in a band called “Alumni”, playing the Tramshed (Cardiff) for the Sound and Music final show, hosted by the University of South Wales. Sean joined the lineup in 2019, helping to form our sound around Michael’s songwriting, which in turn led us to a more hard rock sound. (Aaron Busby)
2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?
We had been booked in to play the Dragonfli in Pontypool before we even had a name, which we agonised over for some time - with some terrible ideas thrown in along the way (RIP Alumni). After scouring online dictionaries, we settled on “Verisfy” which means to “turn into or express in verse”. (Michael Bush)
3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?
We are currently based in Cardiff, while also occasionally performing in other areas around South Wales. As part of the large music scene in Cardiff, we have worked with a number of bands as well as being fans of many others. Artists based in Cardiff that we enjoy include our friends in the shoe gaze hard rock band “Clwb Fuzz” and the spoken word punk ambiance of “Dan Ham”. Both Francis and I are also members of other bands. Francis plays drums for punk rockers “Shlug”, while I play bass in a modern metal band called “Equinox”. “Hunter From Fremonte”, “The 409 Club”, “Parla” and “Red Telephone” are also great up and coming bands that I’ve enjoyed in the Cardiff music scene. (Aaron Busby)
4. How would you describe your style?
The musical style of Versify is all based around our collective tastes as a band, which we all try to bring to the music. Our influences range from Neil Young and The Beatles, to Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, along with everything in between. We would define the style of the band as hard rock, with a songwriting edge, featuring catchy melodies and soaring guitar solos/riffs. (Aaron Busby)
5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?
After previewing one of our songs last year on Adam Walton’s BBC Radio Wales show and receiving positive feedback, we decided to release it as a single. “Fun For Fire” was released in March, and so far has been received well by listeners. Currently, it is our only released song, but in general our music is atmospheric, melodic and puts a large emphasis into the lyrics and storytelling. We do love our guitar riffs as well, and when playing live, I tend to improvise my guitar parts - gotta keep everyone on their toes. (Sean Spiteri)
6. Do you have any new music in the works?
Yes, always. I was writing songs long before the formation of the band, and some of those songs have made their way into the Versify live set. We have a fairly big list of the songs we plan to record next, so as soon as we are able to head back into the rehearsal room and studio, you can expect to see (and hear) more releases. More recently, it’s a little bit difficult to work on songs as a band through lockdown, but Sean and I have been working on new music by passing ideas back and forth via our rather primitive home studio set ups. (Michael Bush)
7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?
We had a few gigs planned to support the release of our first single, Fun For Fire, in late March, which unfortunately coincided with the start of the lockdown in the UK. We hope to reschedule these gigs at some point in the future, when it’s safe to do so. We’ve been asked to take part in some online shows, some keep your eyes peeled for more news on that front in the near future. (Michael Bush)
8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?
We have an albums worth of material ready to go, but at the moment we plan on recording and releasing songs one at a time. The next one planned is an upbeat, fast paced song that we think will excite listeners, and will provide more contrast to our first release. We’re in no rush to get an album done as we want to get more experience as a giggling first. We plan on playing more venues outside of Cardiff and even Wales too, as we really have a passion for playing live. (Sean Spiteri)
9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
Our recently released single “Fun For Fire” is available to stream on Spotify, Apple Music (and all of the major streaming platforms). It’s also available to purchase on the iTunes and Google Play store as well as Amazon Music. (Francis James)
10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?
Just four guys delivering a solid fusion of similar genres combined with storytelling and musical flair. (Francis James).
Starving Hands Expresses Horizontal Extensions with Music and More!
When drummer Alex and vocalist Henk had met, numerous projects would commence, but it wouldn't be til the fall of 2019, that the likeness of STARVING HANDS would start up, combining the styles of dark, aggressive, progressive, brutalizing and melodic as well as others to create just the right styling made for them. With this they would go on to release a debut single, with them hard at work currently upon their first ever EP! See what else the band had to express about themselves and the music right below.
1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
At the moment we are just two young men trying to find our own unique sound. Alex is our drummer and I am Henk the vocalist. We met 2015 via Facebook looking for musicians and since the first moment we knew that we totally fit together. We listened to the same bands like Norma Jean, The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza and many more. With time passing by we decided several times to break up and develop our skills as musicians in different projects but we always found back together with an extended horizon and held the contact. Then on October 2019 we met again in the first serious project Alex founded at the beginning of the year and this was the start of Starving Hands.
2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?
We thought about a name that describes the attitude in our lives and our work as a musician. We both want to put everything we can offer in our hobby. Sometimes it is hard and you have to try out something you never did before. This leads to difficulties that we describe as a cramp. Something like you hurt yourself to achieve a new level or higher goals. We think of spend money and learning new stuff in this case. And this describes our attitude to make music and also in our lives. We just want to develop and grow with defiance and train ourselves to handle situations in which our hands begin to starve.
3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?
Alex and me grew up in Recklinghausen, NRW in Germany and we still are living here. Our rehearsal room is in Herne, NRW. There are many rooms and bands like Any Given Day are practicing here, too. At the moment the music scene in Germany is filled with a lot of modern metalcore and melodic hardcore acts. Unfortunately we can't identify with those bands because we are not really that mainstream dudes. We wish to hear from bands in the style of Reflections or Loathe. But this scene is not really present right here. But however, to recommend a local band we really like we can name Neberu. Those guys make magnificent music and we really like there sound. But that's it.
4. How would you describe your style?
Dark, aggressive, progressive, brutal, melodic and atmospheric.
5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?
We have just released our debut single "Faceless” on YouTube via Spaceuntravel on 30th May and our track will be also available on Spotify soon. We recorded the instrumentals ourselves and produced our music video caused by corona, too. This is the origin of the the rough sound in FACELESS. Moreover we needed help with the record of the voice from Heckules Studio and let the track get mixed by Embark Audio. In the future you can expect more professional workout in our sound because we will work more closely with the studios I just named.
https://youtu.be/kMVIJbf6KV8
6. Do you have any new music in the works?
At the moment, we work on our first EP with the focus on developing our own unique sound. We will come out with eight tracks which will invite you into a dark, aggressive and melodic atmosphere within a progressive contrast of more brutality and a greater amount of touching clean parts to sing along.
7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?
Unfortunately we can't plan shows or tours caused by the fact that we are only a two men show. But we can use this moment to work properly on our upcoming EP and make the best out of it. Moreover we are looking out for musicians at our guitar and bass to complete our band outfit soon.
8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?
We are looking forward to start playing shows at the end of the year or 2021 and are really stoked to get the feedback on our music with the release of our first EP. Before that we are just concentrating on our works now and putting all energy we’ve got into this project.
9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
These things will come along in the future. For the moment “faceless” is in validation to go online on Spotify soon and our merch will be available with our upcoming EP. Information according to these aspects will follow in time via Instagram and Facebook.
10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?
That is a very good question we never asked ourselves before. We just make music that touches us. Alex is the songwriter in our constellation and he can create very emotional atmospheres that is inspiring me as the lyricist. I felt frustration and aggression in the track faceless and picked it up in my words. If we ask ourselves this question we just can say let it be and get inspired by our sound. The only thing we can say to this point is that we always think in a very critical way according to the actual global situation. Maybe the listener should remember that.

The Chuck Creasey Band Chats of Writing, Recording, Touring and More!
Mixer uppers THE CHUCK CREASEY BAND have a few single's out there, along with music videos to accompany them. All new material is always being written and soon be released rather soon. Frontman vocalist/guitarist Robby Creasey goes on further chatter discussing his previous band and how this new band paves the way for all new stuff.
1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
I’m Robby Creasey and I sing/play guitar in the band. I have known our bass player, Charlee, since the previous band we were in together (Farewell, My Love). Chad, our drummer, and I met bartending together in Santa Monica when I moved to Los Angeles about three years ago. Max, our other guitar player, and I have been friends through music for many many years. I’ve had some songs finished and in the works since my move and eventually decided to get a band together because I wanted to be able to perform again, and just have fun playing music with my friends. So we got started in September 2019 and have released several songs and a couple videos since then.
2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?
‘The Chuck Creasey Band’ comes from my name, as my real first name is “Charles”. Initially the songs I wrote were very much in the vein of “country rock” so I wanted to go with a name that felt more suitable for the genre. Turns out it’s just a cool sounding name in general.
3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?
We’re based out of Los Angeles, CA. West LA to be exact. The music scene in our area is not very active but if you take Sunset Blvd 20 minutes east to West Hollywood there is still a lot of rock n roll being played. LA has an extremely diverse collection of musical genres and musicians as you can imagine. A couple local guys I really dig, one is my buddy Hunter Reece, he’s a solo pop dude that's an awesome performer with a killer voice. I’ve also lately been getting into my friend Zach’s band ‘Pest’ and their new tunes. Zach is a great singer and an even better guitar player, and the stuff he writes is what rock music SHOULD sound like in my opinion.
4. How would you describe your style?
We definitely have a bit of a country twang to some of our tunes, a little folk and Americana, all mixed into guitar and drum heavy rock music.
5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?
We’ve released a few singles and music videos. Hangin’ With My Friends, Bucklebunny, and Everything Is Fine. I would hope that anyone that listens can expect and enjoy some carefree, good time songs that are just about having fun and feeling good. Nothing too heavy, the world is heavy enough.
6. Do you have any new music in the works?
I’m always writing and recording. I mostly record everything at home but we do have a new song coming out soon that was recorded with my good friend Keith Cooper of the band ‘Dear Boy’. Another awesome LA band to check out.
7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?
We were actually getting ready to book our first local LA show when the Covid-19 pandemic began haha. Once shows start again we’ll try again, hopefully sooner than later.
8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?
Writing, recording, touring, and having a really good time doing it.
9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?
I write and make music that I like, the message I portray in my songs is the same that I try and think about every single day. Have fun, enjoy life, and don’t stress too much. Life is too short to worry. Also, my music does sound better if you’re drinking a beer.

Five Crumbs Talks of New Tunes and Other Plans in the Works!
Alternative rock wave band FIVE CRUMBS have their latest single titled "Monster" out, with more single's and even an EP planned for this year! The band goes on talking about their music, and other plans in the works!
1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
We founded Five Crumbs in December 2017. Since August 2019 our current lineup consists of the members Richard Ruß (vocals), Markus Schukowski (lead guitar), Niklas Samland (rhythm guitar), Franz Borjan (bass guitar) and Lars Steinfurth (drums). What started out as a simple hobby for all of us progressed into a really meaningful part of our lives. We are constantly working on new song material and really give it our all when it comes to music.
2. What's the origin of the band´s name?
We have five completely different personalities. On our own we are just small fragments - crumbs, if you wanna put it that way - but together we become this band that’s so passionate about music and that really wants to transfer the passion to their listeners.
3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?
The band’s based in Greifswald, a town in the northeast of Germany near the Baltic Sea. Since it’s a student town full of young people, we have a really diverse music scene. There are lots of rock and metal bands out here. The alternative rock band “Dias” from Rostock is definitely a local band worth checking out! As soon as we are able to play concerts again, we want to play shows with the band “Walking Rumor” from Denmark, another recommendation from us.
4. How would you describe your style?
We have set out to create a modern and unique sound. The combination of rock music with elements from different styles outside of the genre makes for an exciting listening experience. With the vision in mind to progress our sound continuously, we don't shy away from experimenting with unusual sounds.
5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?
Both our EP releases ("Fall Awake" and "Prisoners") were produced in cooperation with the established producer Jeffro Lackscheide and quickly reached 30.000 streams on Spotify. Only 3 months after our first EP we already added another one to our catalog. Contrary to most other bands who become softer and softer with their upcoming releases, we decided to take another route with our EP „Prisoners“. With blaring guitars, an impelling drum sound, punchy bass lines and a distinctive voice we managed to combine energy, melodiousness and sophisticated lyrics in an unique way. Our single “Monster” is the latest addition to our catalog. It’s about fighting your inner demons and overcoming hard times. You can expect energetic music that makes you want to move on the one hand and messages that make you really think on the other hand.
6. Do you have any new music in the works?
We do. Our latest single “Monster” was released May 29th 2020 and we have two more singles and an EP planned for this year. Stay tuned for more music by us!
7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?
Due to the current situation with COVID 19, we can’t play concerts unfortunately. But we are planning to play more live stream shows. We currently did one at the Pfingst Move Festival 2020 hosted by Festival stalker and it was a really great experience!
8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?
We’re currently working hard on new songs so we can release our first album in the future. Also we want to go out there and rock more live shows and party with our fans at concerts. It’s so great to see the love for our music from all over the world through messages on our social media accounts. Performing our music live in these countries at some point would be a dream come true.
9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

For now, we don’t have a official merch store. We’re working on opening one soon but for now, if you really want to get merch, just shoot us a DM via Instagram or Facebook. ;)
10. What’s the most important thing that should be remembered when hearing your music for
the first time?
Of course it would be awesome for us as musicians if the listeners would notice all the dynamic changes, moods and messages of our songs after the first listen. But what’s really important to us is that the listeners feel something that make them want to come back to our music. Whether that’s a lyric that made them think, a riff they really liked or a bridge section that got them moving. Evoking an emotion or a feeling after hearing our music for the first time is the most important thing in our opinion.

The Los Angeles Muderfest Version 666 Postponed!
This late summer was suppose to be the return of The Los Angeles Muderfest, with it's sixth year run, returning after years of being away. But due to the current pandemic that is COVID-19 A.K.A. coronavirus, a postpone was likely going to happen and it has, given from the promoters Church of the 8th Day, via the event's Facebook page:
"Hello All,
Unfortunately we are making the call to postpone this event until a TBD date. Currently, the businesses that have been allowed to reopen do not include live music venues and the phase that would include said spaces have no actual date as each phase is influenced by how the previous phase has faired.
Instead of keeping everyone wondering, and possibly putting the fans at risk, we have decided to push this event back.
In our minds, we would like to think January or February, but we cannot make that call until we get to phase four and see how the rollout of reopening venues spaces will happen.
We are steadfast to bring events back to Los Angeles, and we held out as long as we could, but at this point, we felt it was a safer move to postpone.
The event will happen and we will work on making it better than ever, so stick with us, we will not let you down.
As for people whom bought tickets, if you bought them through 1720's platform, we can issue you a refund. If you bought tickets to the original event, please contact the organization, or band, that you purchased the tickets through.
If you hold onto your tickets, they will be honored for the rescheduled date, but we also wanted to give fans an option.
Thank you for understanding, stay safe.
Daniel Dismal
Church of the 8th Day"
Expect The Los Angeles Muderfest to return in 2021 hopefully!

Meteora's Atilla Király Talks of Recent Works and Upcoming Plans!
Symphonic metal go getters METEORA have had a handful of content out, including their most recent album "Tragedy of Delusion". Keyboardist, composer and occasional vocalist Atilla Király, does the talking, about the band's plans and music.
1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
The band was founded in the summer of 2010, but from the Founding Fathers only Máté and myself remain. We had a few line-up changes which made progression harder, but in 2013-14 we had a group which with we could record our first ever songs on our first EP ‘Price of Salvation’. Nowadays we rather look at it as a demo, as all of the songs on it were re-recorded for our first LP ‘Our Paradise’ to give them the treatment of a professional studio. Noémi joined us in 2015, and with that we could really focus on writing songs for the album, Csaba came in 2016 right before the recordings started, and we found Gábor in 2017, a few months after the release. The line-up has been constant since then, and it really allowed us to go to the next level as a band. We hit the studio again in 2019, and released our second album ‘Tragedy of Delusion’ in March 2020 through Nail Records as the bonus CD for that months Hammerworld Magazine.
2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?
It was the idea of Máté. Before our first ever concert in 2011 we had no name, and had to come up with one for them to be able to make the flyers. Meteora, as the hills with the monasteries on top of them in Greece, means a quiet, peaceful place above the world for us. In music we can escape the problems of everyday life even if just for a while. Up there we can observe the world down below, and have a look inside ourselves as well.
3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?
The band is based in Budapest, Hungary. We have a lot of talented bands here, but live music is not in its best shape nowadays. People tend to be really conservative in a musical taste, most only listen to metal that existed before I was even born, and refuse to open their minds for anything new. It is kinda like swimming up the current, but we are really hopeful along with our fellow musicians of the underground that we can change this standard. My personal favorite local band would be Subcortic, a dark metal band with great songs. We share the stage with them quite often, they are really great people as well.
4. How would you describe your style?
The short answer would be that we play symphonic metal.:) The longer one would go like this: We play metal music with power, gothic and death metal influences, accompanied by classical orchestrations and choirs. We use a three singer setup, Noémi is our lead singer, Máté does the grunting and I do clean vocals.
5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?
The songs for ‘Our Paradise’ were written since the beginning of the band until 2016. This means a lot of different musicians worked on them, and all of them had some kind of influence on the songs, so overall the album is really diverse. Some say it is a strength, others feel like it makes it feel inconsistent. ‘Tragedy of Delusion’ on the other hand had a fix line-up, and so it became more coherent as a record. We upped the scales, making the orchestra bigger, the choirs were done by professional singers, and the drumming and ideas of Gábor opened new horizons for us. As for what you can expect, I would have to say classic symphonic metal from the heavier ones.
6. Do you have any new music in the works?
We always have.:D Joking aside, we have just released ‘Tragedy of Delusion’ in March, just before COVID-19 hit Hungary. In lock down we couldn’t really progress with the musical side of the band, so we focused on promoting our new record. With the situation beginning to normalize we can proceed with the rehearsals, and we can start putting together new songs. I write most of the songs and have one almost ready for the band to start working with, hopefully it will hit hard.
7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?
We had a few shows cancelled because of the lock down, our album release show on the 25th of April hurt the most, but we had it rescheduled with the same bands for the 22nd of August. We are cautious with organizing shows for the fall though, as the second wave could destroy those plans easily, we rather look at next Spring for a new tour.
8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?
We recorded a video at home during the lock down for our cover of Linkin Parks ‘Numb’, it is at the editor and should be ready in 1-2 weeks. We also thought of having a second guitar player to make our live sound heavier, if anyone near Budapest would join we accept applications until the end of June. Of course we will start putting the ideas for our third album together, and want to play as many gigs as we can until we hit the studio again.
9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
You can listen to us on all major digital streaming services, buy the albums digitally, or as a physical copy directly from us. We have a few music videos up on YouTube as well, check those out to see what we can offer. A kick ass new T-shirt design is in the making as well, so check back regularly.
10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?
That underground bands are worth checking out as well. :)
