Twin Void Talk of Expansion and All New Music!
Duo band TWIN VOID barely formed in 2019, releasing two demo's and their debut EP. With the band currently hard at work at what will be the band's debut album, the band plans to branch out, expanding their band, and just look right ahead into their futures. See what else the band had to talk about from the chat below.
1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Our band was formed in 2019 and our members were in previous bands before Twin Void.
2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?
We thought it’d be a good idea to base the name off of how many members we have, so the name we came up with was Twin Void
3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?
We are based out of Spokane, WA and we have a pretty good music scene here in our town. Good support, good people. Some bands to check out here are Children of Atom, Merlock, Wasted Breath, and Indian Goat.
4. How would you describe your style?
I think coming from a lot of musical backgrounds, we try to blend Rock n’ Roll, Punk, and even a lot of old Country influence.
5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?
We’ve released two demos and we’re about to release our first EP that was done in a studio.
6. Do you have any new music in the works?
We are currently working on a full length, which we’re going to try to record soon.
7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?
Due to COVID-19 we had to cancel our shows and a SXSW date, but we’re doing some virtual live streams and a virtual EP release on June 5th.
8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?
I think we wanted to add members like another guitar player, keyboard player, and a bassist just to give our live shows a more powerful sound.
9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
We have merch and music up on our Bandcamp, and we’re also on Spotify and iTunes.
10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?
I think most of all when people listen to our music I want them to connect with the lyrics, a lot of what I write for Twin Void is based on my personal life and what I’m feeling at the time.
