Hard rockers STANDING CREW came together, went on to release a number of single's, including cover songs as well. They are going to record an all new single with a full-length album to follow sometime this year! The band discusses much about themselves and the plans ahead below.
1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
It started as a two man therapy project, when Jay and TJ went to their rehearsal room trying to spend some time (and drink few beers). They made a few demos, and it started to feel that this stuff should turn to a band. After couple of lineup tryouts, they found 3 other great guys to join in a band. But of course, when everything seemed to go well, there came changes to the lineup and the Covid 19-shutdown. But now the band has developed into 5 Finnish guys trying to maintain Rock’N’Roll clichés
2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?
At first in a band there was only bass player and guitarist. The members that stand on stage..
3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?
Lapua Finland, and now we have lead singer from Seinäjoki. Scene has been a bit quiet in our region, but we think it will get better now. Here is couple of great bands as Who Stole the Lipstick, Killburn, Deformed Dollz etc.
4. How would you describe your style?
Rough and fast 80’s – 90’s style hard rock, with some modern day elements as programming.
5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?
We just released our 8th official single “Burn in hell (like me), it’s first with our new frontman Mr Fire. In addition we have released two cover songs: First noel and Billy Idol’s Rebel Yell. It’s all rough and fast 80’s – 90’s style hard rock.
6. Do you have any new music in the works?
Yeah, we are going to record a new single as soon as possible. And we are planning to release full length album before this year ends.
7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?
We just did two gigs and more is coming at the latest next summer, but seems like we will do some shows before that, cause we got some demands, but nothing locked yet.
8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?
Full length album, maybe a tour in Finland, and abroad. And of course having a good time!!!

Our singles are in all digital platforms, and videos in YouTube of course.
10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?
That we have a great vibes and we are having fun to make and play our music
