Aoidos Releases New Video Single "Black Swan"

Aoidos, the progressive black metal trio hailing from Portugal, has just self-released their profound new single, "Black Swan."

Unleashing a torrent of heavy grooves and incensed screams, Aoidos' latest creation is inspired by the theory of “black swan events” – unexpected incidents that cause dramatic impact and can only be rationalized with hindsight. In the aftermath of the recent global "black swan," COVID-19, Aoidos' frontman João Freitas delves into the effects of this crisis on the human psyche, particularly against the backdrop of society's relentless pursuit of wealth.

The recording line-up features João Freitas on guitars, bass, and main vocals, EkID on backing vocals, and Chris Barber on drums. Freitas also handled recording and production duties, while João Dourado mastered the track, ensuring the single's hard-hitting sonic impact.
