Dreamland Maid Cafe has been actively doing it’s maid cafe run, both in touring cycles and separated events in and around the U.S. This past year, the maid cafe has had a touring run, as well as two separate maid cafe experience events, one for Valentine’s 2024’ as well as a summer time event known as the “Summer Tea Party”, a summer themed tea party with tropical flowers, flavors and beachy performances. Each ticket bought included a 2 hour maid cafe experience, including tea, sandwiches, desserts, collectible post card, Polaroid photo with all of the maids, with so much fun thrown in!
This summer time fun time, happened Sunday August 18th at the Ramada Hotel in El Monte, California, the same location as their previous Valentine’s event. Taking place in the back at the “Club House” next to the pool, and pond, is where the cafe was set up with tables, chairs, mini stage for performances, and the maids themselves, welcoming all who entered at their set time. First set was at 1PM with the second set being at 3:30PM, arriving for the second set, was a solid choice, as this crowd was so much fun, everyone came in happy, excited, and some dressed up as maids themselves. One of these guests was there to celebrate a Birthday. While others goofed around with the maids, purposing to one of them!
After checking in, you were greeted by the maids, then shown to your table, where you would look over the menu, and get served your tea, of unlimited amounts. Sometime later, you would be brought a tray of mini sandwiches, desserts, and can order extra items like specialty drink or a parfait. Both set times were completely sold out by the way, but this second set that I had booked was just so much fun.
The maids about 6, each had their chances to shine, as they each performed a summer time Japanese song, some were of the pop idol group Aqours from the anime series Love Live School Idol Project! One of the six maids returned towards the end of the whole set, as the Birthday boy requested a special Birthday performance, alongside the maid and got everyone truly excited for it!

The unlimited tea and food tray was good, performance fun, and this second rendition done by the Dreamland Maid Cafe is well worth the experience and every penny! If you have not witnessed a maid cafe, then indeed go and check this one out, it is likely one of the best available, with others similar coming in pretty close.
