Ghoul Brings the Mosh Destruction to Life with Blood, Sweat and Extra Blood!

Thrash punk ghouls known simply as GHOUL announced a brief touring trek titled "Weapons of Mosh Destruction" tour, bringing forth such acts as Haggus with them as support, along with support from other acts within the area like Dr. Know and Skullcrack. This show happening on a Thursday evening in Orange County in Santa Ana at The Observatory. The show not being a sell out but still a good time regardless.

Opening the night would be Skullcrack, whose set up had some minor mishaps thrown in throughout, but that didn’t stop the band from goofing off, literally cracking jokes, among themselves and with the audience, to their bassist tossing the guitar into the crowd, then getting it back to running around the venue, launching a confetti cannon to much else chaos that was a laugh riot. The singer smashed two beer cans upon his head that was funny, with the band’s set being just an entertaining fuzzy. Good act to bring out the giggles for fun.

SKULLCRACK:

Next up would be Dr. Know whose first couple of tracks, caused the instrumentation and vocal chords to clash, both being too louder than the other, it as hard to hear one over the other.  After some adjustment the band had gotten their act together, creating a very punk rock element with their music. The crowd was pleased, resulting with some throwing down in the mosh pit, with others running a muck around as well. Their set brought some life to the floor, as all there got into their presence in some way.

DR. KNOW:

Following would be Haggus a grindcore act with an appeal that hides their identities that would create quite the ruckus within the mosh pit, everyone in it would be running whichever way possible, to falling down. It was chaotic throughout, their set being fast paced from start to finish really. Their music was slow yet fast with an intensity to that that made it all work out for the best.  They are an act with unique flare that make them one not to miss but recognize on a dime.

HAGGUS:

Headlining the evening would be thrash punks the ghouls themselves Ghoul! Now their theatrics would cause some laughter among the crowd, their stage antics having various characters thrown into their story of sorts. This causing an entertaining portion of sorts with blood being shot among the audience, with other moments having guts thrown about, to other parts throwing both together! It was plenty of laughs, lots of falls, crowd surfers,  mosh pit chaos, with so much else there was no telling what would happen. It was all in good fun, with a lot of songs played, giving the audience a good time, lots of laughs with plenty of blood sport to walk away bloody and sweaty. Overall one good ghoulish evening.
