Kairoskiller Talks of Shows, Playing More Shows, and Music!

Evolving act KAIROSKILLER have a handful of tracks out and about, with a lot more music in the works, due out in the next months if not weeks! Some live shows have been set to happen, and them just wanting play as a band as much as possible, with releasing more music and repeating it! See what else the band had to talk about below.

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

Kairoskiller was formed in January 2022 from the meeting of Nick, the singer, with Edoardo and Alessandro, who had been playing together for years in previous projects. Initially, finding a stable bassist was challenging, but in October of the same year, Mark, the current bassist, joined the band.

2. What's the origin of the band's name?

The name is a critique of modern society, deemed guilty of killing the quality of time. Through materialism and consumerism, we are part of a world that focuses daily on quantity, trampling and destroying quality, beauty, art, and love.

3. Where is the band based out of, and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

Kairoskiller is based in Turin and currently operates in Northern Italy. The music scene here is undoubtedly active, though not particularly focused on our musical genre (especially in English). There are several local bands we recommend, such as (...).

4. How would you describe your style?

Honestly, we don’t care much about defining ourselves within a genre since we have many influences and constantly aim to evolve with our music. For convenience, we call it Alternative Rock, in a form that blends energy and explosiveness with refined and eclectic melodic choices.

5. What have you released so far, and what can someone expect from your works?

So far, we’ve released three original songs, one of which comes with an official music video. People shouldn’t expect anything specific from our work other than what they feel when engaging with our art. We put in only our passion and drive.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

Yes, beyond these three tracks, there is more material. We have music ready to be recorded, some waiting to be published, and even more taking shape in recent months or weeks.

7. How about playing shows and touring? Have anything planned out?

Yes, we’re also working on new live dates (in Italy, for now).

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

Play, play, play. As a band, we want to perform as much as possible and in as many places as possible. We’re eager to explore the world, meet audiences, bands, artists, and experience whatever our passion allows us to. In the near future, we’re focused on organizing a series of dates for the spring/summer seasons while continuing to compose and record new music, so we’ll have fresh material ready for those gigs.

9. Where can we listen to your band and buy your stuff?

You can find us on Spotify, iTunes, and all major streaming platforms. YouTube is also included; in fact, you can watch our latest (though technically our first) music video there for the song "Clymax Yell."

10. What is it you'd like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

We love the idea of music reaching the gut, the core of a person. It should spark something—a thought, an emotion, a feeling, or even a new interpretation. We believe songs have the power to create bridges between humans, giving them a way to empathize in unpredictable ways: to know and feel each other, together, a little less alone.
