Cavalera Brothers Bring the Past to the Present with Sold Out LA Show!

This last holiday season is when the Cavalera brothers had announced a spring tour set for 2025. This tour would be entitled the “Third World Trilogy” U.S. Tour 2025. This 30-day-trek of a touring cycle, would kick off in February and wrap up come March. The  third stop of this run would be Los Angeles, California at The Belasco theater in Downtown LA. The show would be sold out by the time doors had opened at 6PM.

Having arrived close to 7PM after doors had open an hour prior, merch was picked up, and the opener Grave Rust, kicked off the evening. Their style of hardcore rock, made their presents quite interesting. The crowd was into them, them having a catchy upbeat tone, with some minor difficulties with their instruments, that made their sound, sound a bit off during their performance. But they did give it their all, energy wise and entertainment purposes, that made the show pleasing.

GRAVE RUST:

Next up would be another hardcore act called Dead Heat, their singer giving off such angst and energy it was flawless to see how much he was giving back to the audience. His vocal ranges being rough, yet fun. He even danced on and off whilst on stage, the crowd giving it their all in return, lots of crowd surfing and mosh pit action happening every which way possible. It their performance this time around, be much more fun filled. Their crowd interaction was fun, singer disclosing about the current topics happening in our world, with the crowd approving and disapproving at times. The music was just like the opener’s very upbeat, having a bouncy momentum thrown into it.

DEAD HEAT:

Following these guys would be Necrot a death metal thrash punk band out of California, that is a trio act. Now once they hit the stage, it was pure chaos left and right. Loads of crowd surfers, headbanger’s, mosh pit action happening, it was endless. The band kept up the energy just as well as the crowd was doing giving off that same energy right back. It was a fast paced environment, that never wanted to quit. The band just gave off such a fun yet outgoing personality with music to back it up, that it made it so much more enthralling to experience. They are an act to catch at least one because you will not be disappointed.

NECROT:

Ending the night would be Cavalera, run by the Cavalera brothers Max and Igor. They would go on to play a set list of the band’s earlier works when the brothers were in Sepultura. Playing such material off albums like “Morbid Visions” and “Bestial Devastation”, as well as Sepultura’s “Schizophrenia”. The crowd’s energy was insane yet tense. Throughout their entire performance would be constant movement, everyone headbanging, jumping up and down, to the mosh pit being bigger and bigger by the minute! It was truly, amazing, and for a sold out show like tonight, it made their performance that more memorable.  If fast and heavy is what you are into when it comes to thrash metal, then the brothers have got you covered. It was nothing but a fast yet brutalizing night of non-stop antics that made it enjoyable to the max!
