Chaoseum Talk Lots About Content, Videos, Playing and Parties Too!
Having forming in only 2018, CHAOSEUM have two full-length's out there "First Step In Hell" (2018) and "Live In Hell" (2019), with another album expected this fall! Whilst plans on touring or playing shows is postponed for now, the band will continue to release content and get ready for the next year for all more stuff! The band goes on to talk a lot more about their content and where it will go next.
1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members?
Loic and Valery founded Chaoseum in January 2018. The main goal was to create music to share on stage. We asked Greg to join us and then CK. CK finally arrived in 2019, six months after our debut album “First Step To Hell”.
2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?
We were looking for an original name in cohesion with our make-up and a little theatrical aspect.
Chaoseum is a mix between Welcome to the museum of chaos!
3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?
We are from Lausanne in the French part of Switzerland. Metal isn't the most popular style here, but there are some great bands and some great musicians. You can listen bands like Almost Human, Silver Dust, Samael, Dylem, Deep Sun and many more.
4. How would you describe your style?
The first album travel between Metalcore and Heavy Metal. The next album will be between Korn and Slipknot.
5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?
The first album was release in 2018. One year later a live album with CK on vocals was recording in Lausanne. You can also find our official video on YouTube and the full live.
6. Do you have any new music in the works?
Yes, everything is mixed and ready. The “Second Life” album will be out on September 25th.
7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?
Out European tour with Fleshgod Apocalypse and Ex-Deo was postponed to October 2021 due to Covid-19.
8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?
And new video really soon, the second album in September with a release party in Switzerland.

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?
I don’t know, but not “stop play music”. Just hope that makes some good emotions.
